Ok my opinion was not because of that Dr being in Mexico at all, and let's talk about fair...This board is set up for potential patients and ptients of Dr. Berger it would not be fair for any of us to recomend anyone but the BEST!! DR. BERGER!!!

I had TR surgery 17 days ago and my incision honestly doesn't look that different than before I went (2 previous c-sections).
It takes a skilled surgeon to operate on someone so that they look...and feel...like it never happened. I know some ladies without previous c-sections may be aware of their scars, but for me, it is like it never happened...it may even look a bit improved over what it used to.
I understand the stress of getting money together but I would *never* go to Mexico for surgery, TR or other.

At first because of the price my husband and I considered going to the doctor in Mexico you are referring to. But after looking into it a little more I just got the queezy jeebies about him and decided to go with Dr. Berger. I am still saving right now but I have a good feeling about him. But to be fair there have been a lot of women who really liked him and thought he was wonderful. So you just have to do your own research and go with your own gut feeling.

What good is having the TR if it's not done properly? In Mexico you may get a better price but at what cost to you personally? I simply don't trust my health to just anyone and that is why I chose Dr Berger. Angela EDD 7/12 John Warnier Gottwald

I don't know which dr in mexico you are referring to, but if it a certain one, I know what is done. I researched it all. Do not do it. Email me if need to at aharleygryl@icqmail.com - I also put info on my site about it.

I had my Tr done by Dr.B and a friend asked me about him and I gave her the Video to watch and the website. I answered so many questions she had and showed her my itty bitty scar. She in turn took this info to her doctor and he swore he could do the same and going to a strange doctor was crazy,so he convinced her to let him do the TR. Well, while still in recovery she was so upset, she had this incision from one side of her to the other and had to stay home in bed for several weeks and is still sore. She regrets her decision and can't wear a two piece swimsuit or anything too low cause her scar will show. Dr. Berger may be not in your area but he's dang worth the trip. He has TR down to an art. He covers all the bases with this surgery, before ,during and after. Would it be worth the risk to go to Mexico and then get an infection or surgery botched up? If I can answer any questons feel free to ask me,like I said I've been to Dr.B. Good Luck to you. Chris

My honest advice would be to take the extra time to save to have Dr.Berger perform your surgery. He is the best there is! This is not something that you should trust just anyone to do. I would not have chosen anyone else and after going to Chapel Hill it just proved my gut feeling to have been right! This board is just proof of how wonderful he and his staff are. They are truly a gift from God! I do not know anything about the Dr in Mexico.. I will tell you that if you use your recources and research everywhere you go Dr. Berger's name pops up and there is a reason for it! Not once in all my searches did I see that Dr's name... And I looked far and wide to find the Best!! Finances were and issue on my end too but let me tell you I would have saved and saved and saved to wait to have Dr b. do my surgery. Good luck in your journey and i will pray that you choose Chapel Hill!
