There's a site that will help with up to so much on the TR, but you have to be on a waiting list. You can also try a loan. I know a few ladies got personal loans at a reasonable rate. Also, you can start with income tax refund if you're expecting any.
I'm sorry you had an accident. I had to put mine off another year (I was around your age when I started this journey) because I hurt my knee and had to have knee surgery but we finally made it, though not before 30.
I wish you luck and blessings, ladies Kattie TL:10/94 Falope rings TR:9/27/06 R=6 L=5.5 BFP: 11-26 M/C: 11-29

Hello, my name is Lavonda and I am 28 years old. I have 3 kids (13,10,7). I had my tubes tied cut and burnt in April 1999. I have been with a wonderful man for 7 years and he doesn't have any kids of his own. I want to have another baby as much as he does. I live in Rocky Mount, NC. I was saving money to have procedure done but was in a terrible accident on 3-28-05. I had to use all of our savings to keep bills paid. I have not worked since then and was told I could not return to work. I hope and pray I can find a way because I want another baby before I am 30. That only gives me a year because I turn 29 in a few weeks. If anyone knows of anything I could do to come up with the money, please let me know.

Dr. Berger is able to reverse tubal ligations 98% of the time. We would be happy to review your records for you to determine if you are a good candidate for the reversal surgery (which it sounds like you are!). You can fax the records to us at (919) 967-8637 - just be sure to put your contact information on the cover sheet so that we will be able to reach you. We look forward to speaking with you!

Ive been looking a lot and to my understanding my tubes can be untied no matter what ligation i have had. Is this information I have correct? Thank you all so much for the positive responses. I must admit while the idea is powerful; I was so sure that this was gonna be one of those things that "wasen't right of possible" for me. While reading you responses I sat here and cried as I realized that we really may have a shot at this. Thank you so much.

Amy, I just wanted to tell you that I too, was apprehensive about TR. But everyone on the message board is always so supportive and you get quick responses from the nurses and even Dr. Berger when needed. I also researched Dr. Berger quite a bit. My TR is scheduled for Dec.15 and I am quite confident in my choice of Dr's. Let me also add that I have been to an RE specialist who assured me that I was a perfect candidate for IVF. I had two cycles - to the tune of approximately $15,000 - not including meds. My first cycle I got a positive PG with twins, but they ceased to develop after about 10 weeks and I had to have a D & C. I now believe that while many woman have success with IVF, there are too many human elements involved. I just wish I had found Dr. Berger sooner!

Hi Amy. I, too, was cut, tied and burned. I ended up with 7cm on both sides. I had TR on 7/14/06 and am currently 9 1/2 weeks pregnant. Dr. B is the very best out there.

Hi Amy like Jennifer said Dr.Berger needs to see your Post Op report to review it but ive heard of him fixing them when the odds were against them. Im not from Oklahoma im from Texas but my sister lives in Bartlesville,Ok and my Grandma lives in Heavner,Ok.Good Luck Jenn TR 2/17/06 M/C 8/28/06 2nd BFP 11/30/06 Im now 5 weeks pregnant.
Yes, a TR is still possible. If you want to know specifically if you are a good candidate for a TR request a copy of your TL post-op report and have it sent to Dr. Berger. A nurse in his office will get back to you as soon as he reviews it and let you know if he thinks you are a good candidate for TR.
Unfortunately, I'm from Seattle but there are a ton of women on the board from all over - I'm sure you'll find someone in your area.

Hi, my name is Amy and I am 35 years old. I have 3 daughters (17,13,12) and had my tubal in December of 1994. After the surgery my doctor told me that my tubes had been cut, ties and burned. My fiance is 33 years old and has no children of his own. We live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
My questions are (1) Having been not only tied, but cut and burned as well is there still a possibility for a tubal reversal surgery for me and (2) Is there anyone from Oklahoma here on this site?
I am very nervous and unfamiliar with even this message board, but we are very serious about having a baby and I noticed that the tubal reversal success rates were better than in vitro fertilization (IVF) and we would so much prefer a "natural" child conception and birth.
Thank you for any and all answers and this support.
