dojb..It's a police uniform. It wieghs 38 pounds to be exact. Most of the wieght comes from our bullet proof vest and then the gun belt, with a glock (model 22, 40 calibur)with a fifteen round magazine, radio, two extra magazines loaded with 15 bullets each and expanable baton. I won't mention the flashlight because I do not carry it and the OC spray doesn't wiegh much. I have a small waste so when I started I could not figure out how to get everything on my belt. Where I work we have to carry everything and wear our vest, it's not mandatory at every agency. I don't carry my flashlight now that I'm on dayshift, because I don't have room for it. Some officers have plenty of room left after they put everything on...lol.Anyway I have a permenent indention on my right hip from my weapon digging into it and I have to use what we call "keepers" (4), to keep my belt from falling off. All four are strategically placed around my outer belt and attatched to my inner belt.lol...After almost 7 years of wearing this uniform,I already have back problems at 28!Believe it or not I have a uniform that wieghs more! But I only wear it when responding to a HAZMAT situation. Lots of those in DC...usually pranks.

Thank you for all your lovely replies. I found all of them on all my threads I've written on. Thanks for your prayers and words of encouragement. Murray and I are deeply faith filled about this TR and absolutely know God has a plan for us. It is when I start thinking and stop praying that my emotions get the best of me.
So hubby is being less than receptive huh? Murr was worried about the same thing but we worked around it (lol). Is there a way to private message each other or IM on this board. I hate to blog back and forth and take up a thread just for me. Let me know if you know how to do that. Love and blessings only, Katy (tell him to get busy)

How do you feel? I'm not going back to work until Monday. The nurse said I can't put the uniform back on until after four weeks because it wieghs more than 15 pounds. I hate going back to do desk work, but I'm going to do everything that the doc and nurses say. I've been under doing it probabally, but I don't want to take any chance. I read your libido message. Glad to hear it's wo,rking out for you. I'm mad at my husband right now, because he doesn't want to hurt me! I'm not talking to him after another night of NOTHING! I'm 28 for God's sake! Anyway, thought I'd let that one out....lol

Neysha! I was hoping I'd find you! It's Katy the old lady from Chapel Hill a week ago! How are you doing Miss 6 cm and 7 cm? I just want to talk to someone who has been there done that. I haven't really told anyone except Murray and it's weird to be recovering from surgery, trying to hide the fact I'm recovering and not telling anyone our great news. I really hope you are well. Are you back to work? Write me back please. How is your husband? Say hello from Murray and me. With love, Katy

Hello. I was burned three times on each side, so I was counting on short tubes after TR if they could be fixed and to my amazement I ended up with 6cm on one side and 7 on the other. I just had my TR a week ago. I would definitely go with Dr.B vs. invitro. I felt the same way. I almost spent 24,000 dollars on the shared risk program. Another thing you might want to think about is the number of children that you want. If you have to do invitro everytime you have a child, even two more would be costly. I know that you will have a good experience at CH tubal reversal center.GO FOR IT!

Caroljean 776.. Sorry i am just getting back on the message board in weeks now. I must have seen you in the pre op area. Things have been going good since surgery, what about you? Is your incision site still hard? I thought by now it would have gotten back to normal.

Hello *waves* My name is Noelle and I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area. My husband has three sons from his first marriage, two grown, one still with us at home. My first husband and I thought we didn't want children, and he chickened out of having a vasectomy, so I had a tubal fulguration. I had thought this to be considered irreversible, so I was happy to find this site. I'm 38 and have never been pregnant before. Now that I have made up my mind, I can't believe how much I want this. I'm currently investigating IVF with a doctor in Dallas, but if there's another way around this, I'm game. P.S. My screen name is a reference to a Jethro Tull song.
