I had my FSH the first cycle after TR and got a 6.8. Still not bad for a relic like me at the ripe old age of 43! I get my progesterone results tomorrow morning. I hope they are also normal..

Tracy I have asked the same thing. I even looked it up on a search but could not find that answer. It just said that it lets you know your leaves are good or not. So I would think it would give you a number. Any answer to this I would be thankful for too. Miranda

I see more and more women popping up on this board that are TTc but also come here and discover that they have PTLS..It is such a shame that the suffering is so bad and nobody talks about this..

Insurance companies do not look at it as saving money to pay for TR..They would rather pay for the many doctor visits for women to figure out what may or may not be going on. Pathing for this is still cheaper than the alternative. They look at it as SPENDING money..They save a BUNDLE on NOT PAYING for pregnancies, deliveries, terminations of pregnancies, infertility costs, pediatric care for those pesky extra kids, birth control pills, etc. etc. etc. They have zero interest in paying to cure a disease the medical establishment does not acknowledge even exists...pathetic...

DITTO for me too.. hubby said if we were told of the possibility of any of these sideeffects I would have never had it done either.. then you get insurances to not h\elp pay for a reversal but will pay for different surgeries that dont even try andfix the problem.. all because it is a ellected surgery.. how stupid.. you would think more insurances would pay for a reversal if they knew it would save them money , and help their clients they cover also...

I was just talking to my DH about informed consent. When you get your wisdom teeth our or get braces, you have to watch a movie and they tell you 101 things that can go wrong. BUT, when I got my TL, the only side-effect that we were told about was "well, it might not work and there is a chance you could get pregnant." How ridiculous!!! Even if they don't believe in PTLS, what about the other symptoms that have been linked? What about... there's a greater chance that you'll have heavier AF, need BCP to regulate your hormones and there is an increased risk of hysterectomy!! I NEVER would have had a TL if this information had been shared.
Sorry for the ranting.... but thanks for listening
