Best thing that I took was Stool Softener and Gas-X........OH my GOSH ... both were a life saver!!! Last thing you want is to be constipated and having to push out a BM...TMI but TRUTH!!!

definitely pack some light snacks (crackers, jello, applesauce, pudding) and some juice to snack on after the surgery until you are ready for a meal. Good luck and enjoy the service at the hotel and the surgery center.

You also may want to pack pants with a comfortable waistband and what I call "granny panties" - ones that sit at least mid-rise. Underwear and other clothes that rub against your bikini line will be uncomfortable. Fran, RN

We have a Surgery Checklist that you can print off and keep in your purse for reference. I would add that you should wear comfortable clothes the day of surgery, many ladies opt for pajama pants, reading material (as there will be some down time), and your responsible adult should also pack a snack as we do not have a snack machine. I look forward to meeting you when you arrive.

Dial has an antibacterial soap available. The other things you will need are: (2) Zantac 150 mg tablets, one which you will take the evening before your surgery and then again one hour before your surgery, a thermometer and some advil or motrin (ibuprofen)400 mg. Martha

I have a question about the antibacterial soap.... all I have found in the stores here is the hand-soap.. I have not seen any body wash or bar soap that is antibacterial only. Most of them are scented like white tea and Lilly Dial.... so what kind do I buy? Also what should I pack???
