We no longer suggest waiting. weare6 Member # 12596 posted                    Okay, I hate to spoil the fun, but my experience after TR was quite sore... I made my DH stay away for a little over a week. I know everyone is different though. The night before? No problem... you feel great and are soooo excited! Once we got back to the hotel after TR I slept and DH watched payperview movies. He had a good break from life! Blessings to you all in TR! But that we could start sex again as soon as I felt up to it. Just watch your body and do not do anything it is not ready for. I am also wondering if you have sex the night of or very soon after surgery does anything hurt or can you hurt the tubes or anything like that? We were anxious to get the party started.... Well, it worked for us I am currently expecting! My surgey was 1/27/09 and I got my BFP on 2/19.... doing the hcg blood levels now and we have rising numbers so all is good.
