I also had severe PTLS. I had my TR a week and a half ago and it is amazing the difference!!! I had the surgery on CD14 when I would normally start having PTLS symptoms. I had 2 bad PTLS days a couple days after TR and was getting scared it wasn't going to help. But then it all started turning around. Today, my daughter was in one of her talk, talk, talk and 1001 questions moods and the greatest thing was that I was able to talk with her and answer all her questions without getting crazy overwhelmed and having to say, "honey, I can't talk right now...can you please be really quiet for a little while?" This is soooooo great. I am so thankful that God made it possible for me to have this surgery and has allowed me to be myself again!

Heather I know all to well what you are going through. It is so great to feel the changes your body goes through the fist month. It keeps getting better. Even the hard cycles after surgery are still better than before. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Hi Ladies. How are you all doing? I had my surgery a week ago today. I suffered from SEVERE PTLS. Let me tell you. I have got my life back!!!!! The only thing keeping me from doing cartwheels is the fact that I still have some pain. I cannot believe the improvement in my symptoms. It is so incredible. I feel amazing, I have more energy than I have had in years and my brain is not foggy anymore. DH is not complaining either, if you know what I mean. LOL I feel like I finally have my life back. I want to thank Dr. Monteith and all the nurses at CHTRC! Thank you so much for giving me back my life, my boys back their mother, and my husband his wife back. This has made a huge difference already in our life. Thank you as well for giving us a chance to add to our family. You are all truly blessed by God for how you help others. Thanks again and keep up the wonderful work! God Bless!!! Heather A.
