The doctors do review the records and the e-mail or phone call you received from a nurse was the interpretation from one of the doctors. Since Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith are in surgery and/or seeing patients for consultation each day, it would be very difficult for the doctors to personally respond to every op note with a phone call or e-mail since we receive anywhere from 60 - 80 operative notes every week.
Each interpretation we send to potential patients includes the type of tubal ligation performed, an estimate of the amount of tube removed (depending on the type of tubal ligation), and an idea of whether the tubal ligation can be successfully reversed. We also offer information on the screening laparoscopy to each patient when we e-mail and include a link to the pregnancy statistics page so that each person can see pregnancy rates for her age and type of TL.

I'm pretty sure that if you got an email from one of the nurses you got your "expert" opinion. The doctors review the records and then the nurses relay the message via email or phone call.
The nurses don't review the records, the doctors do.
I am on the same boat as you. My reports were sent in several months ago and all I was told was I was burnt 3 times on each side but never got a email or phone call from Dr.M? I too would like a professional opinion about my chances?

Dr.M, Your office already has my paperwork. The ladies are the one's that told me I was burnt three times on each side. They also told me that the lap would be best for me. I still would like to have one of you doctor's to review my information and I get an e-mail from you, I still have not gotten an expert opinion on my chances.

The cost of Essure reversal and coil removal is the same we charge for tubal ligation reversal.
I really do not understand your medical history from your post but you should send us your records for review and we will give you our professional advice.

I would like to know how much it is to remove the essure coils so that someone may be able to go through with IVF. After everyone reviewed my reports and said that I was burned in three different places on both tubes, i guess my chances of getting a reversal is doubtful. I think it would be a waste to let the docs go in just to tell me that they can't do anything for me. So now I would just like to know if anyone knows the cost to get the one essure coil removed?
