I found that ice cubes did the trick when I removed mine. Miranda

Removing the steri-strips is pretty easy but it isn't as easy as the video shows. I took a shower and then took them off immediately after while they were still wet. Good Luck. I can barely see where I was cut they do an excellent job.

OMG! Thanks so much for showing the video on how to remove the strips! I don't know what I was thinking, but I had visions of me and my husband preforming mini surgery at home removing strings with needles and sissors! LOL!! Phew! I feel better about that!

Tara, The tubal reversal surgery will seem like a breeze compared to a C-section. You will be up and going in no time. Best of luck. Jennifer

The tubal reversal incision will be a thin line just above your pubic bone. In most patients, it is actually hidden within the pubic hair and is very difficult to see within a month or two. This video that shows removing steri-strips gives a good view of the incision as it is healing.

Hi Tara,

It is one incision-just above and parallel to the pubic bone.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
I am scheduled with Dr. Monteith on October 20th and was curious about the incision. Since there are 2 tubes will there be 2 separate cuts made or one in the middle. I already have a c-section scar so Im not worried about that, just curious as to if its 1 or two incisions ill be dealing with. Thanks, Tara
