Lori-Ann,

How have you been feeling lately? I'm finally starting to get back in the swing of things of being back at work. I clipped the suture knots today and I was not prepared for that. I had to pull on the sutures a little so that they were above skin level so i could clip them. Oh man did that hurt!!! I almost feel like its monday all over again. Did you have the same problem? I didn't have any problem with the steri strips the came right off and didn't hurt at all. But the sutures, holy crap. Please tell me that I'm not alone in my pain here. (not that I want you to be in pain)

bbgirl76 - I am glad to see your post! I was hoping to meet you while we were there but things moved so quickly that I was spinning! I have a little swelling today and a little more soreness but I think mine is from sitting for too long... once I get up and move around a bit, I feel so much better... I am already noticing a slight difference in my general attitude - in only 2 days?!?!? WOW!
Hugs to all,
~Lori-Ann

The bloating will go away...The PTLS relief ceme quickly for me...I lost all 22 or so symptoms within 4 months of surgery after suffering for 3 years! I felt emotionally better the first few weeks and then the rest just evolved until I felt human again!

Good luck and speedy healing to you!

It's only been 2 days since my TR, and I already feel a huge difference with my PTLS. My skin had been so dry and itchy and that has completely resolved itself already. The only thing that isn't great is that I feel really sore and swollen. I look like i'm 4 months pregnant with my abdomen as swollen as it is. But I guess that's a small price to pay.

I am home! The trip back was about 6 hours - after the first two in the car, it was a little hard to get up and walk around - after that, I made sure we stopped each hour just for a few minutes... much easier... I feel decent - just a little tired from traveling...
Thanks for all the support. I am getting together all of my notes and calendars so that the changes are documented.
Take care ladies,
~Lori-Ann

Thanks ladies for noting your PTLS changes. We really hope to help others with their symptoms and relief. Documenting the results gives us more information to relate to others. [CHTRC]

Lori-Ann I took a note book with me and wrote myself little letters about how I was feeling when I noted something when I went for my TR. It is so neat to see how soon as in a few hours I could note changes. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Yanna & Miranda (and all others), thank you!! I have high hopes that this will totally resolve the PTLS. I have taken two naps and feel okay. I am a little tender but this kind of feels like the cramps I deal with during my cycle. To be honest, I am keeping a log so I can compare to my previous cycles so that I can report the changes.
Well, I am going to lay down again. Thanks again for all the support and well wishes.

Lori-Ann I am so glad to read that you did well on your big day. I had a Monday TR as well. Loved getting everything done all in the same day back to back. I will pray you have a fast healing time. My PTLS has all went away it seems. It is so great to be myself again. I get to enjoy and love life again. Get that rest. Miranda
