Author Topic: is this ptls? 5xlove Member # 11721 posted                 since ive had my first ppaf since weaning my dd from the breast every period has been 2-3 wks. long and very heavy for about a wk. then mostly light bleeding/spotting for the next week or so..ive had horrible cramps and ovulation pain and i get a horrible headache about 5 days before my period then it tapers off after about 3 days into it...ive always had really light to moderate flow that only lasted about 4 days before my tl...so what gives?? my dr. wants to put me on bc pill to regulate me and just tells me it is from nursing my dd for 16 mths. and having 5 kids and getting older?? what do you all think? thanks
