Ok, so today marks my one month post TR. HOORAY. I am in 2ww so on pins and needles. AF was a killer this month, all of the other symptoms of PTLS are gone except those freekin cramps. Well I hope all is well with everyone.

No need to apologize. I like that you posted it again as a reminder to new women who might roam here that..there are so many symptoms they probably never linked back to their TLs, leading them to suffer endlessly and struggle to find a reason for their symptoms...I did that for 3 years until I found that site and, eventually, this one and had my TR..

Sorry, Didn't know it was posted. It is crazy that all these women walking around that don't have a clue. It started with increase of sinus issues, then one thing after another. I have not felt well since 2004 when I had my TL. I have been to the hospital with migraines, rapid heart beat.. The list goes on and on.
I tell the young ladies at my church whatever you do don't get TL.

Jenan - This has been posted here before and this is from the site that gave me my first "aha" moment" about what was wrong with me. This was the site that gave a definition of PTLS and listed virtually every symptom I had...I started googling more and found CHTRC and scheduled like a month later..I have not regretted it for a moment and was astonished that none of the MDs I have spoken to heard of PTLS. We all have a lot of work to do getting that word out! Thanks for posting this again..as a reminder for those who may be new to the site and can learn about many of the diverse symmptoms of PTLS.
Just wanted to add another list of symptoms that women can also have from a TL. I have research it for about 2 years and have gone on a couple of Dr's website. 1. Eptopic pregnancy or pregnancy (well known risk of tubals)
2. Hot flashes, flushes, night sweats and/or cold flashes, clammy feeling, chills
3. Bouts of rapid heart beat
4. Irritability
5. Mood swings, sudden tears
6. Trouble sleeping through the night (with or without night sweats)

Great topic! Before visiting this board I had no idea PTLS was a problem or even existed for that matter. It took only a few topics to realize that I will feel better after my TR. My main reason for TR is to share the joy of a child with DH (who has never had one of his own), but to know that I can relax for next 15-20 years is worth TR in itself. I'm scheduled for 4/13 and I can't wait to feel normal again.

It is so rewarding to know that you have already found relief from PTLS symptoms. Keep us updated. It is such an encouragement to women with PTLS who think there is no hope.

Hi Anniev6176, I couldn't have said it better myself! Dr. Berger just did my TR on 3/4/09, AF is due like Thursday or Friday this week and I can't believe I'm not in maniac mode yet? No spotting for a full week before, No Painful Cramping and it's this close! I am no longer feeling that high-anxiety either. My lengths are: R = 5.5cm; L = 6.5cm. I've finally obtained my PTLS cure. I can already feel a change. Best Wishes TTC Ladies and Thanks 4 The encouraging words to my PTLS sisters

Dancemom - What are your symptoms? How long have you had them? Did you read the PTLS blogs here on the site from October/November time frame? They will show you the sagas of several of the women here and how they have receovered through TR. If you have any specific questions..please feel free to ask. I hate to keep repeating my laundry list of symptoms here as most of the women here have read them over again over but you can see my story in the blogs..TR (which I had in June 2008) alleviated all of my symptoms...

Misha and Luquesha, thank you both for sharing those stories. (plus all the other ladies' stories as well) I can't wait for my day 04/01. I am going through a lot of those same issues, especially the anxiety and not wanting to BD or just plain D for me at this point. I thought I would never be awaken from this PTLS nightmare, and given the chance to conceive again! Thanks in advance to CH, and thanks again for all your stories, they give many hopes, and keeps us grounded. GL luck on your TR and TTC journey ladies!!!
