8. I noticed a change within 2 months after TR. Big difference. Libido? I had no idea what that was for the past 7-8 years, my poor DH. What a blessing to have received it back though.

9. I use PreSeed lubricant, sperm friendly, it is great.

10. I use Green Salve by Mother's Love anytime there is itching. Even if there is an absence of any type of infection, probiotics are always great. Try to stay away from too much regined products and sugars.

Our bodies are all different, we all heal at different rates and heal differently. Some of us will receive our libido back, some of us won't. The latter may need a little umph, like natural progesterone or evening primrose oil.

I wish you all the best in your recovery.

No more PTLS in SoCal.

Yeah, the iodine is helpful. I read that B6 would lengthen the LP and could help with spotting so that is why I started taking it. I started spotting last night and should have started full force today if I were going to have a 25 day cycle this month. Still just spotting though. So I guess that it has helped lengthen LP by two days. That is good news. Maybe next month it will eb even longer. I would liek to get abck to 28 days if I could. If not then I hope that I can at least get to 26 without the spotting.

My wellness doctor put me a Iodine right after my surgery.(Weak uterus) It helps maintain your uterus. It keeps me feeling better and gives me energy. I love it and can tell when I miss a day. Your body needs the right level of Iodine for many reasons. For us ladies it is key. If your iodine is to low like mine was in July, our body can not hold a baby. I wish you all the best. I love the all natural treatments so that is what I do. Miranda

moosenangel & albmdb - thanks for your responses - I'm just so ready to feel and be like I was before I had the TL. BTW - what does the iodine and B6 do?

Thanks,
PTLSinSC

Yeah, I would give it time. I was anxious for things to go away after my TR. I am four months out now and I am starting to see changes even still. After TR I had trouble with spotting before AF which was unusual for me. IT started 3 or 4 days before AF. When I talked to the DR she said that it was prob from having the tr done and to give it up to 6 months. I am more proactive than that so I prayed about it and started taking a vitamin that had iodine in it and B6 with an additional b6 supplement since my dr didn't want to do any testing at this point.

This month I have had no spotting and I feel like I am going to start tomorrow which will be CD25. I don't mind the short cycle as long as my LP is long enough and I think that it is this month since I don't have the spotting. Something or the combination has worked this month and I am glad. No more spotting would be great. Oh and an aside -- I passed my state board exam yesterday! YEAY!

PTLSinSC, I would at least give a month after your tr. After at least 1 month no change i would call and setup a appt and have all the test done then. Good luck

moosenangel - thanks for the reply. Did you have any hormone tests after your TR I'm not sure what I need to try next - should I just give the TR a little more time to work it's magic (rid me of these horrible symptoms)?

Thanks,

The symptoms listed below that I'm especially interested in not dealing with anymore are from tubal.org/symptoms_of_pts.htm

8. Loss of libido

9. Dry vagina (painful intercourse)

10. Itchy vagina-at time raw like, can radiated from whole area, with absence of yeast infections.

I had my TR on 10/21 - although these symptoms are extremely personal, can anyone who had and recovered from these symptoms (following TR) give me an estimate of how long it should take for these 3 symptoms to go away? Many thanks for any info/insight.

Have a great weekend!
PTLSinSC ;o)
