Where about in Wisconsin? I live there too, and checked on Doctors before choosing Dr. Berger, but still did choose Dr. Berger because of his web site and all the woman that will speak for him.

I just want to chime in with the rest of the ladies. I did a ton of research when I began looking into TR. You will not find anyone cheaper. The bonus is Dr. B is probably the best! He was given a true gift from God. I wouldn't recommend looking or going anywhere else!

I know the topic was discussed on another post, but I thought I'd pipe in here. The day following your surgery, and probably the day after that, you will need your adult companion to pay attention to you alone. The surgery recovery is quite easy, but you will need some help for the first few days. You would absolutely not want to have to take care of your kids during this, and you will need your companion's full attention. Plus, the surgery center is probably not as big as you are thinking it might be, and there really wouldn't be room for them.
I did a ton of research before choosing Dr. Berger. I drove 14 hours from NY to have my surgery done. He was SOOOOOOOO worth it. My TR baby is 3 months old now. As far as I could tell, he was BY FAR, the most reasonably priced TR doctor, even including travel expenses. Good luck!

I live in Indiana and couldn't find a doctor around here. That does anywhere close to what Dr. Berger does. Most of the doctors do 4 to 5 a year. Dr. Berger does 4 everyday. I was thrilled no hospital stay which in Indiana was three nights. The one thing I don't like which I also understand. That I can't take my sons (4 and 1)with me. I am trying to get someone to go with us to North Carolina. If you look at this website the statistics are posted. It go by you age, length of remaining tubes, and how they did you TL. As for me. I am trying to figure out how to pay for the surgery. I am going to start the payment arragement in the spring when taxes comes in. I Know I am big on making sure I might only have one chance on getting this reversed I want someone that is the best. I think if all he does is TR. He gotta be the best. OR he wouldn't be doing it for a living. I hope this helps you. I know I am looking forward to having this surgery. GOOD LUCK!!!

Umm, you won't find anyone on this board recommending anyone other than Dr. Berger. I think you'll find that his patients are his best advertisment. Also you can find statistics on this site here: http://www.tubalreversal.net/tubalreversal_pregnancy_rates.htm
One of the reasons I chose him was his expertise. I wanted someone who did reversals exclusively rather than someone who just did it once in a while. Also the attitude of his staff was a big plus. After searching the net for a few months, I came to the conclusion that Chapel Hill and Dr. B were the right choice for me.
