I did the prepayment account for my TR - remember, rather than pay $185 for 5 years to repay the loan, if you just send in $200 a month to Dr. Berger's office on a prepayment plan, you would have your TR paid for in only 30 months (which is 1/2 the time - 2.5 years)!!
My DH and I started talking about having this surgery in 1997...yep - almost 10 years ago. We didn't do it until 2004 - we waited until we could pay for it and we are soooo glad we did now. Now our boys are both going off to college and that's on less payment we have to contend with on top of their tuition
I think I would have really been discouraged when it took 2 years to achieve a successful pregnancy if I were still making payments on the surgery. I was already really down on myself by the time my little TR baby started growing in my belly.
And, if you are worried about your age - I'm 40 years old, so you have time.
Just a suggestion! Hope that helps a little... Amy
