MedChoice will not make payment within 24 hours of the patient scheduling-which is required to get either surgeon's reduced fee. The rate of $6,400 is actually the standard fee for Dr. Monteith and a savings of $500 off of the standard fee for Dr. Berger.
I hope everyone will find this decision to be a fair one- since it is a requirement that payment in full be made within 24 hours to get the reduced rate.

Ericka. You may want to specify that it is only $6400 for those financing through MedChoice. I just called and was almost panicked, because I thought that all the costs changed and I was almost to my goal. I talked to a nurse and she straightened me out.

Effective immediately, the cost for surgery with Dr. Berger or Dr. Monteith if you are using MedChoice will be $6,400. MedChoice has had to make a few revisions with regards to their funding method.
