LaShon, All labs test results have specific "normal" ranges, any doctor or nurse can evaluate your results and let you know if they fall into these guidelines. I hope this helps.

Thanks Micko for understanding what I was trying to say. I guess the nurse didn't understand, but anyway that is exactly what I am going to do because I don't want any surprises either!

Hi Lashon, i had TR 7-02-09. 2 mths before i scheduled i had a full blood work up, got the results back. I did this to be on top of things, just in case something was out of the norm i would have time to get it corrected. As the time approached for me to schedule my TR i had another blood work up about 3 weeks before i scheduled. Better safe than sorry. i would have hated to be all set to make the appt. and they tell me i cant because my hemo is too low, or liver problems

Thanks Colleen! I thought about that after I posted. I just hope that my Dr. and CH are on the same level as far as my bw numbers because I don't want one Dr. saying that my numbers aren't good enough and vice versa. I am just so nervous about the lab part of this journey.

I understand that, and I will be doing my labs again before surgery, but I wanted to do them now, as well as when I am supposed too. I want to have them evaluated now by the Dr. or lab tech at CH in case something is wrong then I can correct it now instead of being suprised and having to reschedule later. So the botom line is, can someone evaluate my first set of labs?

I wanted to know if I can take the series of tests now and have them evaluated by one of the Doctors or Nurses @ CH so that I will know where I stand and to prepare myself if necessary before I plan my surgery for Feb. 2010? I don't want any suprises 3 weeks before surgery.
