Julia is right.. not to scare you, but i had an ectopic rupture at 5 wk 3 days.. I think maybe so soon because i only had tho one tube that was only 2cm. I was having tests at my dr, hcg was only 1100 whan it happened. I had similar cramps, but kind of ignored it hoping it was body adjustment.. Congrats on your pregnancy and I didnt want to scare you..

Hi, MsJackson:

We would not expect your current pregnancy to cause pain at your incision site, so do check with your OB if you are having cramping and discomfort. Have you been checking HCG levels twice weekly? Since you are at an increased risk for a tubal pregnancy, it is important for the levels to be checked and an ultrasound performed when levels reach 1500-1600. While our bodies do have to adjust to a pregnancy, "intense stabbing pain" at your incision site is not related to the reversal surgery 6 months ago and it is doubtful it is your body adjusting to the pregnancy. This should be followed up on right away.

Please keep us posted.

Hi MSJackson,
You should probably follow-up with your doctor to be evaluated. d02bkj is correct in that the body does readjust with pregnancy. So.. you very well may be stretching some. You should see your physician so that no stone goes unturned. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

yes, I have heard that has happened a some of the girls once they get their BFPs. Your body is "readjusting", and sometimes that makes the incision sites sore as well.

Congrats!!

I wanted to ask if this is pregnancy related at all for those of you who have gotten pregnant.
My TR was in April (this year) and I haven't had any real problem with pain at or near my incision site until now. I am only 5wks 5dys but every now and then I get an intense stabbing pain behind my incision. It's enough to make me jump and say whoa! I am also having light cramping but I understand that's normal in early pregnancy but that pain bothers me because even right after surgery I was fine. Any thoughts or input is appreciated ladies, thanks.

Best wishes to all no matter where you are in your TR journey. [Kiss]
