Patti4kids, You are not alone. Many women have reported some of the same symptoms you have expressed. We have performed surgery for some women reporting PTLS symptoms. Afterwards, many of them reported some of their symptoms had subsided. If you have more questions, please contact us.

I am new too in this blog and I was reading your post and when I was 21 yrs old I got my TL and since then I experiencing the same symptoms the bleeding,cramps even the hot flashes..I really regret my TL the same day something inside me was telling me no to do it.But because my pass relationship and the pressure of my mom I did..Big mistake ever!!Doing this story short my DH do not have kids and I really want to give him the first baby,but he is a type of person really independent and he like to plans thing really good so for this reason he tell me he is not ready yet but one time he tell me I am ready star looking for a Dr. I told him that i all ready know one wish is Dr.Berger because I\'m Looking for this info since 2005.. Hopefully I save enough money by 2010..and my husband still without decide. every time that i tell him I\'m going to NC he smile and said not with me and i tell him back with you or without you I\'m going to this not only for the moment and the baby but for me for my interior because I always knew that the TL was not what i really want.
I think my DH is mostly scared of having another baby because this will be #5. But we both love our children very much. He will warm up to having 1 more after I talk to him so more. I haven't talked to him alot about it because I do not want to press the issue to much too soon. I am giving him time to think about it. He will come around.
I too suffer from the symptoms you explained. I have very heavy bleeding the kind where I cant go anywhere cause I am in the bathroom every 15 minutes. Sorry if TMI! These symptoms were enough for me to go ahead with the surgery. I did take into consideration my DH but I decided for myself. It makes it easier to know that DH is on board though & mine is seeing how he has no kids of his own! So in my case I hope to get double out of this...Relieved of PTLS & another baby! I will be scheduling my appointment hopefully today!

I am new to the messaging board. I am 36 years old with 4 children. I have PTLS to a degree. I have heavy bleeding, cramps, hot flashes sometimes, and mood changes. And I have a touch of the baby fever! When I talk to my DH about wanting a TR, he says that my PTLS is not bad and is against the TR. I talk to him about wanting another baby and he laughs and says he is too old to have another baby (he is 39). He said if I got pregnant by mistake he would be happy. I think it is my body and if I want a TR for the PTLS, I should. I think he will come around about the baby thing, because he loves children. What is your advice? I am planning to have my TR in Feb or March 2010.
