American Idol is over and DH & I are hanging out in our room getting ready to go to sleep. The big day is tomorrow at 8:00am. We spent the day walking around downtown near UNC Chapel Hill. We ate at a Chinese buffet called 35-Chinese. It was great & cheap too, $14 for the both of us. We met some of the couples too. Amanda & David from England are a fun couple, we talked quite a bit. I also ran into OurBlessing by Iwhen I ran after the shuttle driver to get him to take us downtown. They were on the shuttle and I started asking her questions about her surgery yesterday and if she was on the message board. It was neat seeing someone who you chat with online.I'll be posting again tomorrow after surgery. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers from all of you girls. Trisha
My first AF after surgery was 8 days late. I was not PG so I called up to the CHTRC and asked if this was normal. They told me up to the first four months my AF could be Late, early and it is not unheard of to even miss an AF. It was still agonizing to me b/c I was so excited to start TTC. That even may have been what made it come late. HTH's

Thanks Tonya!! It's just weird...didn't OV this last cycle either...and now I am late. Must be all the emotions, etc. Can't wait to get back on track so we can figure out when we can start to TTC!!! XOXO Shannon

I ended up sharing my joy with two of my closest friends...they are SO happy and can't wait to possibly have a new "neice or nephew". Also told my parents...they were shocked at first and very negative, but I think the idea is starting to grow on them. We didn't tell the kids...I know 4 out of the 5 would be happy, but if things don't work out and God doesn't give us another, they won't have to deal with the disappointment too. I know everyone has different ideas on that part, that's just what worked best for us.

Linda - I totally know what you mean about the negative comments. I made the mistake of believing that everyone would be happy for me. Unfortunately the most common statement is "You are really going to start over again, why would you do that". People just don't understand.
It's so nice to have the TR sisterhood and a place to communicate feelings!

shakeisha I have not had my tr yet it is scheduled for aug 4, 2008 but I did have bipolar cautery and Dr. B said I was an excellent canidate for the surgery. I had 3cm burned from each tube. Also you can go look in the weekly pregnancy reports and see ladies who have had bipolar cautery and went on to get pregnant. HTH

Hi all, not sure if I have the correct post. Just wanted to introduce myself, I have my TR scheduled for 06/30 and would like to add my details to the waiting room
ME 35 DH 41 DD 11 DS 10 TL 1998 (Clips) TR 06/30/08 (having to get used to writing the date this way as I am from England UK and we write it differently lol)
We are so excited to come to the US and meet fellow TR's only 41 days to go!!!!!!!!! OMG.

Crystal, Glad to hear you are feeling well!! I got to take my steri-strips off today!! Can't wait to cut the suture knots off!! You can hardly even see where I was cut...amazing!!
