Thank you so much but I just wanted to let you know though that I have already had my TR on 3/26/08. I wanted to tell Gilly my story of trying to round up the money for my TR and how it is not always easy but never give up.

Also, I work at a radiology facility one of the MRI tech that work with me saw me on line at work. She went to CHTRC in 2000 for her surg. She said, "Are you having that done" ? reluctant to say yes, after all the drama. She said, " I went there and they were wonderful". It took her awhile due to some other issues but she have a cute little boy, who is 2yrs old. That blew me away giving she work here in the office with me. When we get to Chapel Hill I be sure to tell them her name and that she strongly appreciated there hospitality toward her

Linda - Other than my kids, I too am really only telling a couple of my close friends. My daughter is really excited but I told my two sisters and their reaction wasn't terribly positive (i.e why would you want to start all over again? and are you really sure this is a good idea?) so I won't bother telling the rest of the family until later on.

Good evening to all of you, Thank you all soooo much for all the prayers and warm words of encouragement. After the way things were going with us coming up with the rest of the money, my manager at work gave me some discouragement also. B/c , I have already had an ideal time when DH and I was going to have everything lined up for TR the date I gave my manager was already approved, so she told me she was unable to approve the time for a later date. Being frustrated financially and with having her say that , yesterday just wasn't my day. Today ladies I feel wonderful and hopeful that things are going to be okay. DH and I are coming from Baltimore we are going to drive down and back. My Hr Dept said I do qualify for short term disability. I forgot totally about that ! I came home from work early today after working major overtime this month to gather some thoughts and play around with some finances without jeopardizing the house bills. That look up to par. DH and I paid $4,000. so far and $500.00 on it's way this week thus far. GODS willing nothing else strike us we will be done on the 30th of May with the balance. See ladies this board means a lot, although I haven't been here in awhile it was good to log in for your encouragment and support . love Adriane

Hi Toni I just wanted to say good for you for booking it. There are some things that you just can't put a price tag on. We took took money from our savings, and we decided not to tell our family. I know I would only get negative remarks about doing this, but I feel that this is right even though I am over 40. 43 actually, so I am not telling anyone except a few dear friends. I told people at work that I am having hernia surgery....out of state.. which I have a hard time explaining. Anyway, good luck to you. Linda in Ga

Not positive I know what you mean, but I had my TL by cauterization 12 years ago. I had my TR last month and the Dr. B said my survey went great and both my tubes were long and clear. It depends on how long your tubes were and how much was removed.

I live in Morganton, NC. About 3 hours from CH and we had great weather today and a small rain at 5pm. It feels good out side even right now. It was almost 70 here today.
Crystal so glad to hear that you did well today. I will be praying for you to have a fast recovery.
You must live in Reunion!!! I live in Westminster....just up the road really! Congratulations to you! You are the only other person from Denver, that I've found!

Hi everyone. My surgery went well and I'm feeling great. My lengths are 4cm on each side, of which I am very pleased. Everyone at the center was wonderful, it has been a great adventure. Thank you for all of your prayers. Crystal (from Maine)

Trisha, You will not be disappointed with your experience! Like I said before, they are all angels!! I just can't say enough good!! Blessings for a safe trip and speedy recovery!!
To all the girls waiting...if you don't have a laptop to bring, the hotel has 2 computers in a room just off the lobby. They are hooked up to the internet and also have a printer. I was able to keep you girls posted on their computers and also checked in with the airlines and printed out our boarding passes! HTH!!
