The one thing I was grateful I had taken with me was a small notebook. I took it with me to CHTRC the Monday I had surgery. I used it to talk with others after surgery. My husband used it to write down when to give my pills and what my tubes where on each side so we would know for sure. I also used it to write notes to my kids like a dairy so they would know what mommy felt and went through. I really liked having it. I even wrote down all the info I needed to keep up with for the TR. I kept it because it is a memories book now. Miranda

My TR is scheduled for September 15th, so yesterday, my mom and I went shopping (albeit early), but I was dying to already pack. The funniest part was the 'granny panties'....my mom picked out a pair that said..'sexy enclosed'...I'm afraid I put those back...heh I'm sure I'll pack/repack a dozen times before I leave, but it's so exciting just getting ready. (My mom also bought a baby jumper)...she's a wee bit excited, too...

Thank You Lisa, those are some of the items not on the list. I just want to be well prepared! Thanks Again, Chapel Hill Staff has been so wonderful already! Thanks Again! Amy TL-03/19/1999 TR-10/06/2008(scheduled)
We look forward to meeting you soon. The tubal reversal checklist Pam recommended is a great guide for you. You definitely want to bring a thermometer, Ibuprofen (if it is safe for you), warm socks and Zantac just to name a few. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Good morning, and congratulations on scheduling your TR! I thought perhaps our check list for TR surgery would be helpful. This is printable so that you can have it handy as you prepare for your trip. I always encourage the "responsible adult" to bring a book and some snacks as you will be here until lunchtime the day of your surgery.

Hello Everyone....I am anxiously planning/preparing for my TR procedure. I am wondering what some good items to bring with me might be? I am reading so many of the posts that I am getting really nervous already. So much testing and so forth it seems like after the TR is done...yikes!! Hopefully I have a smooth surgery and am blessed after the surgery with no complications. We will keep praying!! Anyway, I enjoy reading all the interesting posts and I welcome any advice/idea's that anyone might have. Thanks!! Amy TL-03/19/1999 TR-10/06/2008(scheduled)
