yeah, Toots...it's embarrassing... All of my friends and I used to LOVE dancing when we were younger...much younger...and we went to this disco club...(yikes! I AM old!)...those gals could put away the drinks, let me tell you!..whew! I never could drink...I always had to pick them up off the floor and take them home....lol!

Wow..REALLY? I hate to say it, but for my size and being a woman, I can drink a good bit! It takes a lot for me to get drunk. So, that doesn't happen very often at all.

lol*the bathroom comment! I don't drink coffee like most people...I drink one cup...and at night. My mom thinks I'm looney for not wanting it in the morning, but I never want it when I first wake up at all. I'm having to give up on my Diet Coke...THAT'S been tough, too. I was drinking around ten or so a day, but I've cut it down to only 3 now, and trying juices and water. Can't drink alcohol at all...I get drunk and sick on just one wine cooler!...
That's one thing we don't have in common. I hate coffee! BUT I don't mind a 'drink' occasionally. I'm being good though. Haven't had one in a while. I've gotta stay away from that, too.

SharonVS, Yep..It's soooo easy to light up than to say no. It's very hard for me to say no.
amber3729, I know, thought I was the only one..lol. I feel so weak though! Morning sickness has a way of 'turning you off' to things I guess..lol. My morning sickness was awful. I'd have never believed that smelling or seeing a cig would've done that to me.

Yeah, I love my marlboros too, dont get me wrong though..i will smoke ANY BRAND if I am out. And pregnancy is the only thing that cures it. As soon as I had my son, I did the same thing and started all over again!! woe is me!!!! hehe Im glad Im not the only one!!!!

Same thing exactly for me, Toots. When expecting my DD, I got sick at the thought of a ciggie. Then, about a week after she was born, a friend offered one...and my brand (naturally), so I took it... I felt so guilty and weak for that, but it was so much easier to light it...than to say no.

SharonVS, omg, I'm sure your cooking is just fine!
Well, my husband says I can smoke anything! There was these really cheap awful cigs that we tried years ago. I 'could' smoke 'em. He thought they were just disgusting! I'm not too picky. A cigs a cig to me I guess.
He prefers his Marlboros. I will smoke 'em, too. Dorals are usually cheaper, so I go for them. He can get low on his, and I'll offer him one of mine. His response is, 'no way'. lol!
So, I don't know. The only thing I've ever found that turns me off to cigs is pregnancy. When I was pregnant I couldn't even see or smell someone smoking. It would make me soooo sick! I should've never picked them back up after pregnancy. My stupid mistake!

You are, Toots...and thank you... You just have to be 'ready'...I really wasn't, either, but again...yuck! I've smoked for years and years, and these things gave me a headache, besides tasting like the southbound end of a northbound mule!..lol They're called...'Djarum Black'...and they're almost $5 a pack. If those don't make you want to quit...I'll try something else...perhaps some of my cooking for you?....

SharonVS..hmmm, I have never heard of them. I haven't noticed them in my local tobacco store, but I usually just walk right in and ask for what I smoke. I never 'dilly dally' or look around..so..
Congrats to you! That's great that you've stopped. I'm really proud of you. Wish I was as strong.

We can only find these at our local specialty cigarette store. Smoker Friendly is ours. They're about twice the cost of a regular cigarette, and that amazes me as they are AWFUL!...'gag'

I have my fingers/toes and everything crossed for you. To be honest, those awful Clove cigarettes made me want to stop. My DH saw something about them, and he got me some and told me...'these are all you get...you need to either smoke them..or lay them down'...lol! That was as close to mean I've ever seen him. Needless to say, they are so awful, they've turned me against all of them. Now, when I even smell one...I almost gag...maybe you could try and see if they do the same for you.
