A lot of patients wear pj bottoms and comfy slippers on the morning of surgery.

See you soon!

I'm still not sure if I'm crazy or not, but I have actually been really stressed about this same thing. I finally decided to order some maternity capris that have the roll up or down waist band (like yoga pants). I'm not one to wear sweats, so I don't have anything like that. I guess I figure this way when I do wind up pg, I'll have something to wear when my pants don't fit me at 8 wks! [Smile] (I show VERY early!) Maybe I'm crazy, but it wouldn't be the first time for that! Hope this helps someone... or maybe someone will help me!

I wore drawstring PJ pants and thick comfy slipper socks on the bus ride from CH to the Hotel.....but for all I know I could have been wearing nothing at all, because I barely remember it and my DH had to hold my arm the whole way to steady me - so he says!

Cassey,

I had wondered about this too. I wondered if you could wear pj bottoms for TR. I always lounge 'round the house in them. They are very comfy and have a drawstring. I'll keep an eye on your post to see what suggestions everyone has. Thanks for asking this question. [Smile]

I'll have to check out the socks that SharonVS mentioned, too. I always have cold feet. I wear socks all summer long.

I love those yoga pants, but didn't know Sam's had them. Well, off I go there tomorrow!... [Smile] Also, I have some really form-fitting comfy socks. My feet always are cold, so these are the toastiest things ever. I think Keds makes them, but I got them at Wal-Mart. HTH

On surgery day I wore a pair of drawstring capris, and slip on pink shoes. I also brought a really pretty pair of satin jammies and comfy slippers to wear when I got back to the room...it helps to still feel pretty! On the way home I brought one of my favorite "hippie" type long skirts with a drawstring waist and a nice fitted t-shirt. I was pretty swollen on the day after, but mine actually got to be more once I arrived home and the healing really began. It all went very well, and you definitely don't want anything tight! Best wishes and you will do great!

Blessings,

Andrea

I took some yoga pants, they are super comfy and stretchy and you can get them cheap at Sams Club in a two pack :-)

I wore flip flops and scrub bottoms. You will be swollen so your normal clothes wont fit. You will want loose fitting pants.. Good luck

I was just wondering on what to wear after the TR. From leaving the center to traveling. And is there any reason why we can't wear flip-flops or can we. I don't have much else besides tennis shoes ( for the summertime anyways) but will wear them if i have to. I'd appreciate any info I can get. Thanks

Cassey
