I used the 6 week body makeover, it works really well, I lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks. The biggest part of that plan is LOW carbs, and low sodium. You end up losing a lot of water weight since the sodium causes your body to retain fluid! But any time you do low carb you get results. Good luck to you, I am down 40 ponds since June!

Darkfeary that is great keep up the good work. Hopefully I can say the same thing soon. I started the 6weekbodymakeover on yesterday, cross your fingers I hope this works. I am at 250lbs and wanna get to 200 before surgery and over all wanna get to 180. How long did it take you to lose your 61lbs?

Just An Update on my Status

My Weight is now 233 and my BMI is now 34.4!!!

I am now at a 61 pound loss Yahooooo [Embarrassed] )

Hello everyone, My name is Tara. I am new to the forum, and my husband and I decided just recently that we would like to have another baby. So we financed the surgery, and I sent for my operative report. Now is the waiting game, waiting for them to call me and let me know whether I'm a good candidate or not. I also still have some weight to lose before I schedule. Right now my BMI is 35.8, but I don't want to schedule until it is under 35 that way I am sure to remain under and not have to end up rescheduling surgery! I am so excited and I have waited for this a long time, I have spent plenty of nights crying and really regretting my decision to have a tubal ligation!

Hi ladies i havent been on in awhile so much going on in my life.i wish everybody the best with thier weight.seems like mine just stopped.i wish i knew what to do it's driving me crazy.i ask my self why is it so hard to loose weight for something u no u want.its crazy to me.i just want one more baby.and i just can't loose the weight.it really makes u feel bad,i have been wanting this since 04 and things keep happening.i don"t no what to do.take care girls i'll check back soon.

Ok, I've been bad about posting! It's been frusturating because I keep gettin stuck for a week or 2, but am at 179 right now. BMI 30.7. I am trying for 170 by surgery date, 11/17, would like 160 by Feb. when TTC so... we shall see! 5/2008 weight was 207, 179 now so new goal..28 lost, 9 to go by TR!

I have for the last year been useing a website that is free and helps you track your food intake and calories intake along with you carbs and so forth and so far i have lost 60 pounds between that and my exercising trying googling sparkpeople [Smile]

I started the third week of January, and had lost it most of it by May. I have been slowly losing since because it is a life style change. The way I eat has completely changed. So the lbs continue to slowly come off. I think I would like to loose 3 more lbs. Oh, I do walk most evenings as well, but only about a mile. I wish you all the best, you can do it! [Smile]

Melany how long did it take you to lose 27 pounds? What is your goal? I have tried weight watchers years ago it does work, But I am gonna stat on the six week bodymakeover next week. Thank yall so much for keeping me going.

Melany Weight Watchers does work . I also started on the flex points because it gave you more self control and had to keep up with your point system. When I started in June I went in weighing 232lbs and when I had my TR on July 08 I weighed 204 lbs. I was really excited and determined to get that BMI down to where I needed to be. You also must excersise while losing weight. I only paid twice learned the point system got the material and took it from there. With the pint system you can eat what you wanted to eat but you ha eto document your points and couldn't go over unless you wanted to use your extra points that are allowed for the week which is an extra 5 points a day. I would defenitely recommend WW for weight lose.
