Hello Maudie.. We're all different in how our bodies handle things, but I can tell you that after my TR in September, things weren't bad at all. We left the day after surgery and drove up to VA and spent the day visiting with family, and I was on my feet the entire time. A bit uncomfortable, but nothing I couldn't stand. I had no bleeding at all. Just some incision pulling and pinching and some swelling, but it was all tolerable. They give pain meds that work really well, but I found I didn't need them much at all. I'm sure others will come in and help you with their experiences, as well, but you'll do fine! Good luck to you!

I will be scheduling my TR soon and I was wondering what should I expect after the reversal as far as bleeding and pain? Do you bleed after surgery and is the pain similar to that of a c-section? I was also wondering if I have my TR about a week before AF is due and then start normally, by the time AF was over, I should be able to start ttc, correct?
