GaPchNCrm, some schedule their TR around vacation time etc. You should have no problem scheduling during the time frame you mentioned. Good luck.

Laddies I wish you all the best on setting your big days. We used our 2008 tax money to pay for our TR. I had my TR done on 3/24/08 because the kids would be out of school then and I was able to have my mom take off to watch them. You will be in great hands at CHTRC. Miranda

Hopefulin08- Why did you wait until August if you scheduled in Feb? I only ask because its going to be around tax time when we are able to schedule and I wondered if they had so many people to do it then that you HAD to wait until August or was it a personal choice. I was hoping if I schedule in early or mid Feb. I could have the surgery in April sometime, or May at the latest. ( I would prefer late february but figure that won't happen! lol)

I am soo anxious to schedule my TR and waiting on the last W-2 that we need is driving me crazy! My DH job doesn't mail theirs out until Jan. 31st so We won't get it until Feb. 1st or Feb. 2nd and I plan to have the TR done in February, do you think it's still possible to have it done in February?

Hello to all =] I too am planning on using my tax return this year to pay for the reversal.I found this site about 4 years ago and was just starting Nursing school so the timing just wasn't right.I am graduating this year and am ready to have a new chance at life and creating it.I too have suffered so much over the past 8 years with PTLS like many of the women on these boards.Between the debilitating miagraines, anxiety attacks and all the useless trips to Doctors offices and ER's I am just exhausted and frightened. I have prayed for God to restore my health and HE has led me here...so here I am.Good Luck To All.Peace & Love

Cindy, I would be happy to be your buddy! You might be going in for surgery before me though I am not sure! We aren't expecting a big tax return, but are hoping to get a good savings plan started with CHTRC with it! My goal is to walk through those doors sometime in 2009! We are going to be trying to sell my husbands boat (it's not worth much but will help!) and with lots of prayer, I hope we can come up with enough for my blasty blast TR "vacation"!!!

I am also using a portion of my tax return. My employer has a Health Flex program that preloads a debit card for the entire year upfront, I elected $5000, so the rest plus the cost of tickets will be taken out of my tax return. Hopefully I can schedule in early April. Good luck everyone!!!!! My DH and I share ya'lls excitement.

Ladies good luck to all of you. My DH and I used some of our tax return last year to pay for my TR. I used Dr. Monteith since he was just starting with Dr. B and offered the reduced rated of $4900 I scheduled in Feb of 08 and had my TR on Aug 04, 08. It was a very long and hard wait but totally worth it. CHTRC is amazing and Dr. M works miracles!

Cindy, I can totally relate with feeling like you are wishing your life away! I don't think I've ever wanted anything more than a TR! I can't wait to feel better for one thing! Most people I know are saving money for a dream vacation or some material thing they really want. Here I am saving for another abdominal surgery (I've had 2 c/s) and couldn't be more excited about it. DH laughs at me b/c I talk about it like it's going to be the biggest blasty blast of my life....like going to Chapel Hill for my surgery IS my next vacation! It is...really! LOL
