Well hello everyone its been a long time. I hope all is well with everyone. I had my TR last month and curently TTC. I just want to say to all of you who are still trying to lose weight to keep the faith you can do it.Believe me I lost 30lbs in the end I thought I would never get there but just remember you have a goal. My gaol was to get rid of those nasty PTLS and to have another baby. Remember you can do it!!!

savn4ababy welcome glad to have you I will be your buddy I started out having to lose 40 and now I am down to 20. I have been trying to eat right and workout but I am sooo busy lately I can hardly find time to go to the gym. I have cut soda out completely and tryed eatting better all around. Let us know a little of your back ground . I still along with losing weight still have to raise 1/2 of the money still. I have 2 kids 10 and 12 from my first marriage and now I am with one of the best men on earth and he has no kids but had always wanted 1. Before he met me he had given up on ever being a dad since he is 45. But I told him I would get the tr for us to have a baby and now all he wants to do is practice for after our surgery. I am 33. We are not going to schedule until my weight is off. I dont want to end up being turned away and having to reschedule. Good luck on your journey. Bonnie Hope-Faith-Love

Hey pattync, glad your back, especially with time for your kids! I know what it's like to be at work all the time, or have to travel for conferences and be away a lot!
This past has been so awesome! My DH works nights, so we usually don't spend much time together...well its been my fertile window, so we've both been making priority of being together...and I am feeling so happy!

Well all you have to do is be here and try to keep us updated on your progress so we can cheer you on. It is soo much easier when you have someone supporting you, and it feels really good to beable to share your progress with others.
Hope-Faith-Love Bonnie as of Jan. 1st I had to lose 40 pounds and I only neeed to lose about 16 now . It also helps when you have a goal you really want like a sweet little baby.

ashrylie You have to be a certin BMI to have the sergury. And that goes by your height. They have a BMI calc. on the scheduling page of Chapel Hills website. You might want to get your height done again and then shrink your self about an inch just to make sure, or make sure your a good bit under your weight for your BMI. You would hate to get there and be turned away.

Hello ladies, well today was the big day I had my TR and every thing was great. The staff was awesome, they explained everything to us and we felt like we were at home. I brought my scale from home so that I could weigh myself this morning before we went to the office. My weight this morning on my scale was 213.9 and I thought my height was 5'8'. When I got to the office my vitals height and exc.. was taken, my weight was 213 which was great but when we got to the height well that was a whole other story. OH BOY I WAS NERVOUS .My height was 5'7' 1/2 which 2 months ago my Docs office said I was 5'8'. Thank God I was trying to be as close to 210 as possible needless to say that my BMI was 32.9 which wasnt bad. My length is 3.5 on the left side I am working with one. I can honestly say I worked very hard on losing my weight but it was all worth it. I stop eating all the meats, breads, and sweets.That was hard, but when you want something so bad you will do what you have to do. I pray that all my TR sisters are doing well and continue working hard on your weight loses, just now that I am praying for you. REMEMBER YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!
