Haha-Myrtle, why is it that we can go through all of the gross stuff for years, PAP etc, but when they hear about SA they freeze up! I mentioned that it was recommended to DH and he said, "Well, I wasn't really the problem, right?" That's sweet hunny, you're right, it's all my fault! lol, he's TOO honest sometimes!
Maria, it is so great to hear that you are already BD! Good luck with everything! I went to my RE, and he said that after TR, if I did not get pregnant in the first 3 months that I should come in and see if the tubes are blocked. He told me that there is not reason, if I was not fertile before, that I should not get pregnant right away. That's just his opinion, I know this site has people that disagree, but it made sense to me. Let us know when the BD comes up with a winner! Love ya, and good luck!

cheadlemom, congrats on the shopping. I inherited some size 14's from my boss. She was losing weight too and gave me a bunch of her pants that she couldn't wear anymore. I gave away most of my 16's when I lost the 25lbs with WW but when I stopped WW, I quickly went back up where I started. **sigh** There are a couple of pants I got from her I can still wear but they are tight (which DH loooooooves).
I had asked DH the other night if he wanted me to make a consult appt with the RE and he didn't answer me so I figured he just didn't want to deal with it. Yesterday he says "oh yeah, I forgot to answer you about that appointment. Go ahead and make it." So when I go in tomorrow for my mammo, I will see about getting an appt with the RE. I did tell them they were probably going to want to do an SA on him and he kinda looked at me funny and asked how did they do that. I just looked at him and said, you know.

I wore size 20/22 when I decided on TR, today we went shopping because everything is too big, and the size 16 were baggy on me! That and I have gone down a full cup and bra size (TMI-I know). I am gettin so excited about losing the weight! TR, Here I Come! Thanks for all your encouragement along the way everyone! Most of my motivation comes from you gals!

Scheduling...we are getting ready to schedule. I am hoping for July 9th. I still have 4 pounds left to get rid of, and I think that setting a date will help motivate me a bit more...wish me luck!

About the wieght '' All I can say is don't give up '' I cam back from Chapel Hill about 8 pounds extra '' LOL'' I am not checking my wieght again for another 2 weeks '' then I will start the gym again at least walking on the treadmill. I am just taken it easy for the next month''

Hello all! Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was ok.
Still kinda bummed. Weight not going anywhere. DH apparently had a conversation with his EX and a mutual friend about our plans. The friend volunteered to be a surrogate. Somehow he got the impression that if they took my egg and his sperm and put it in someone else it would only be $1800. I had to explain to him that wasn't the case and that it wasn't my "oven" that was the problem. If anything we would need donor eggs for an IVF. And if that would be the case then I would probably want to use my daughter's so at least the baby would still be my DNA.
And DH is planning a big fishing trip for Father's Day weekend. I am bummed cuz I want to go too but he wants it to be just the guys. **sniff, sniff**

Hello My Friends '' I can not believe you have let us fall over the abyss ""LOL"" Hope everyone is well ...I have just made it back from Chapel Hill last night '' and it was a wonderful experience ' Surgery went good and pain is at a level 4 this morning soo not that bad '' I wanted to stop in and let you all know '' that the scale at chapel hill is fine '' I wore a sun dress on consult day and I weighed 203 bmi was 33 .. My length after surgery are 7cm on Right/ 4.5 cm on the left Dr. Berger says he expects good news from me soo I am very excited''

Myrtle - I micromanage my weight and its frustrating, but I cannot help it. If you are only gaining a lb or so during the day, thats not bad. I usually weigh at least 3 lbs heavier at the end of the day. A lot of it is all the water I drink. You need to eat though! As for the doctor pushing IVF, I have heard those stories before, so it seems to be common. I am 34 and I went to a local RE for a tubal consult (which cost me $150) and he began to talk about IVF, as if thats what I was there for. Don't give up! DF did not want to hear nothing about having a baby, so I dropped it. He is the one who brought it back up and keeps asking if I think I'm pregnant. (I'm only 4 days DPO lol) Guys are funny like that sometimes.
