You could ask some local buisnesses if they would allow you to put your candles in their stores. My hairdresser had all kinds of stuff in her shop that she allowed her clients to sell. Alot of traffic went through there and she thought it was nice that other people had stuff to "shop" for while they waited. Bake goods, you could just set a stand up by your house on the weekends, kinda like a yard sale type thing. Advertise with signs saying where you are located. Flea Markets are great because the rental tables are usually cheap and it's a high traffic area. One of our local pizza places lets someone sell brownies at their place. The lady is selling them to raise money for her autistic son. She makes the brownies and has them cut and wrapped in plastic wrap. She leaves them setting out by the register and has a box for the money. Not sure that all places would go for that but it can't hurt to ask. You could also advertise on Craigslist. it's free. Good Luck!

Do you belong to a church? maybe they would let you do it there. Do you have any kids involved in sports. If so maybe you could set up a table at the games. Good Luck.

Hi ladies, I need some of the wonderful advice you all give. I have decided to try bake sales and candle making to help raise funds for TR. I know places like Wal-Mart only allow non-profit organizations to have bake sales in front. Other than my front yard, where can I have them? Any ideas? I've never done this before and am drawing a blank. Anybody ever done one? I know they will make good money and am anxious to have some. Thanks for any advice.
