When that happen to me,try to cut back on your curb in take an work out longer times.Sometimes your body get use to the same routin.I just lost 11more pounds in two weeks after my weigh in for Chapel hill,my TR is less then 4days!

I'm like so disappointed I know my weight goes up & down alot but for the past month I've been in the gym for at least 30+ min @ 3 to 4 days a wk for the past 2 wks I been doing the Special K Challenge , I had lost 5lbs and now I've gained 3lbs back .Normally I can lose weight pretty fast & keep it off for a while so I don't know if it's because I"m trying so hard before my TR are not but nothing seems 2 be working , My BMI is ok for the TR but I really would love to lose 20lbs any advice would be helpful.

Hi rebornet33,well this is something that if you really want it you have to stay focus to get it!Yes its really hard to do,but its how bad do you want this?But I know if you put your mind to it you can do it!!!!So good luck,I lose 47pound in 5month to get this,if i can do it you can.My TR is march 2,2010.

Hi ladies, I've been off the boards for a little while and had a hard time finding this link again. It's been a long time since anyone posted to it. I guess the holidays got everyone busy. I lost my enthusiasm for this whole thing for a while as it just seemed that it was never going to happen and I sort of gave up. I know I have gained back some of the weight I lost. Not sure how much as my scales were broken and I haven't gotten new ones yet. My family has had so much going on that this really took a place in the back of our minds but I still hear that clock ticking (41 in July!) and my heart still yearns for another baby. Out to dinner last night and heard a newborn cry (they have that special sound don't they) and my heart just started aching. Talked to hubby about it and he said yes we need to get back on track with this and make it happen. We will make it another bill once we get moved and settled in and save as quickly as possible. So, now I need to get in gear weight loss wise again so I'll be ready that way when we do get the money. I don't have new stats yet to update until I get a new set of scales but wanted to say hi again and see if everyone was still wanting to keep this thread going? Is pattync still the one doing updates or someone else?
I just want to let you all know that it CAN happen!
I was 233 pounds and am now down to 206 and having my surgery December 14th! I was very worried about whether or not I would be able to lose the weight (I'm a human yo yo!) but this has meant so much to my husband and I that I never even consider cheating on my diet! My husband is dieting right along with me so I don't get discouraged watching him eat!

Hi my name is von,An I'm also waittig for my weight lose as well.Before I started my journey I were wearing 230.an now wearing 210.I have 20 pounds to go! Yes I now I can do this Ive been losing 2 to 3 pounds a week!! All most there,when I started.I started out with the perpaid acct.because I knew I had to lose the pounds first so I'm geeting down quick an fast.But what keep me going Is being on the borad..So I will be getting my TR,Hoping In feb!!!

hello everyone! a few days ago i was thinking how nice it is to hear from all the ladies who have already had their tr and those waiting, but how cool would it be to hear from those who are waiting unitl wt loss to have tr and viola! here it is, so here's my info:

i started weight watchers last week and am praying this will work i am also starting cardio and powerflex classes this week. last year before my wedding i lost 24lbs. in 2 months just cutting back and walking 3 miles everyday. well, actully all i ate was oatmeal, salads, baked potatoes, and tuna. sometimes baked chicken. i thought about the Atkins diet this time because i LOVE bread, pasta, and rice, but I also NEED the embarassment of weighing in front of others. My dh is into body building and eating healthy and is a excellent support and education system, but does not tolerate the whinning that comes with working out. lol. i just want to say blessings to everyone and remain encouraged...this to shall pass. smile. I did the Atkins diet and went to the gym 5 days a week (in the morning) for 1 1/2 hours and within 2 month I had lost 30 lbs. I never had the faith I could do it.. BUT I DID! I want everyone to know if you have faith in yourself YOU CAN DO IT TOO! You just really have to believe! I have said to myself before that I believed but I didn't REALLY give it my all. We are all here to help support each other. Just keep the faith. I am 2 days away from my surgery and could not be more EXCITED Danaka

Hi antiontta33 my name is von , i understand what u r talking about.It is so so hard to lose weight,but i just keep telling myself if this what i really really want this Im going to do it,no matter how hard it is.I do see what u are feeling I was wearing 230 when i started a month later then i were 216 now to weeks later 209 .Im happy but i still have more to go,i just keep telling myself how bad do i really really want this.An i know this losing all this weight is for my good too as well.So just think about it you can do this u did it once an you can do it again.

hi ANTIONETTA33 im also in the 200 mark and im only 5 feet tall, im planning to schedule my tr for feb also, its very hard to lose this weight but im not giving up. im using weight watchers and its working out pretty good and im also walking and exercising and drinking lots of water. hope we get to meet in feb at chtrc, good luck on your weight loss and know your not alone.. jess
