I just want to let you all know that it CAN happen!
I was 233 pounds and am now down to 206 and having my surgery December 14th! I was very worried about whether or not I would be able to lose the weight (I'm a human yo yo!) but this has meant so much to my husband and I that I never even consider cheating on my diet! My husband is dieting right along with me so I don't get discouraged watching him eat!

Hi my name is von,An I'm also waittig for my weight lose as well.Before I started my journey I were wearing 230.an now wearing 210.I have 20 pounds to go! Yes I now I can do this Ive been losing 2 to 3 pounds a week!! All most there,when I started.I started out with the perpaid acct.because I knew I had to lose the pounds first so I'm geeting down quick an fast.But what keep me going Is being on the borad..So I will be getting my TR,Hoping In feb!!!

hello everyone! a few days ago i was thinking how nice it is to hear from all the ladies who have already had their tr and those waiting, but how cool would it be to hear from those who are waiting unitl wt loss to have tr and viola! here it is, so here's my info:

i started weight watchers last week and am praying this will work i am also starting cardio and powerflex classes this week. last year before my wedding i lost 24lbs. in 2 months just cutting back and walking 3 miles everyday. well, actully all i ate was oatmeal, salads, baked potatoes, and tuna. sometimes baked chicken. i thought about the Atkins diet this time because i LOVE bread, pasta, and rice, but I also NEED the embarassment of weighing in front of others. My dh is into body building and eating healthy and is a excellent support and education system, but does not tolerate the whinning that comes with working out. lol. i just want to say blessings to everyone and remain encouraged...this to shall pass. smile. I did the Atkins diet and went to the gym 5 days a week (in the morning) for 1 1/2 hours and within 2 month I had lost 30 lbs. I never had the faith I could do it.. BUT I DID! I want everyone to know if you have faith in yourself YOU CAN DO IT TOO! You just really have to believe! I have said to myself before that I believed but I didn't REALLY give it my all. We are all here to help support each other. Just keep the faith. I am 2 days away from my surgery and could not be more EXCITED Danaka

Hi antiontta33 my name is von , i understand what u r talking about.It is so so hard to lose weight,but i just keep telling myself if this what i really really want this Im going to do it,no matter how hard it is.I do see what u are feeling I was wearing 230 when i started a month later then i were 216 now to weeks later 209 .Im happy but i still have more to go,i just keep telling myself how bad do i really really want this.An i know this losing all this weight is for my good too as well.So just think about it you can do this u did it once an you can do it again.

hi ANTIONETTA33 im also in the 200 mark and im only 5 feet tall, im planning to schedule my tr for feb also, its very hard to lose this weight but im not giving up. im using weight watchers and its working out pretty good and im also walking and exercising and drinking lots of water. hope we get to meet in feb at chtrc, good luck on your weight loss and know your not alone.. jess

Atkins is a low carb diet. ~meaning you cut out bread, cereal, pasta. . . all the good stuff. ha ha. but you slowly add that stuff back into your diet over time. You can google atkins to find the web site and it will tell you how to do it. basically there are 4 phases of the diet and you can start at anyone of them depending on how much you want to lose. I recommond starting at phase 1 if you have never done it before.

what is an atkins diet?i heard of this but what do it do for the body?im just trying to find the quickist way to lose,my dr wants to start soon as possible i think he thinks it can happen like this LOL. Von
