I liked the notebook we took. It was a smaller one. I was able to write about how I felt and what I was going through. My DH was able to take it with us on day or surgery and write down all important things they told us about meds and so on. I used it after surgery to write down how long my tubes were and what Dr.B said when he came in. I loved the little soft tummy pillow and blanket I took. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Congrats! I just scheduled last week so I know exactly how you are feeling.
I'm looking forward to the replies about things you wish you knew ahead of time. I'm such a planner and I'm driving my husband nuts but I just want to be prepared!

I am soooo excited!!!! I just scheduled my TR for January 28,2010!!! I was wondering if you ladies who have already gone through the TR had anything you wished you knew when you went. Maybe something you should have brought with you, or the way you traveled. Me and my DH have been together for almost 9 years and we have NEVER been on vacation. So, this is a very exciting ordeal for us. I just want it to go smoothly. Also, I am freakin out about leaving my 2 and 3 year old behind. We have never spent more than a night away from them and we are gonna be in NC (coming from TX) for 3 nights!!!! I'm sooo nervous about that! I hope everyone has a nice day!
