Hey Chrissy- good to "meet" you. Pomeroy method is very common, very reversable and very promising!
All of us have had a change of heart for any number of reasons (new relationships or a renewed desire to have babies or PTLS symptoms) so we can all relate to how you're feeling. If YOU'RE nuts, we're all nuts
You'll be in great hands with either Dr M or Dr B, so rest assured-- it'll happen for you

Hi Natalie and everyone else! Well, my name is Chrissy and I just turned 39. I have been married to my buddy and pal, Scott, for 16 years. We got married young, at 22 and 21 and we were parents a year later. By the time I was 28, I had three children, 2 boys and the last was the girl. This little girl decided to be breech presentation, and so I had to have a c-section. It just seemed like the thing to do was to have a tubal ligation while I was already under the knife, had three kids, both sexes, etc. For many years I was happy with the decision. But, the past few years, though, I really felt regretful and wanted another baby. Scott felt the same too. 10 years ago we thought 38 and 39 looked OLD. And, now that we are here, we are realizing that we have some life in us yet! LOL! So, here I am. 39 years old and hoping to have my fourth child with a 15 year old son a 12 year old son and a 9 year old daughter. Someone, please tell me " AM I NUTS OR WHAT???!?!?!" I had the pomeroy method (spelling).... Chrissy wish me luck!

Chrissy I called on Feb. 14th or 15th and got in for March 24-2008. I thought I could have used more time as well. Some day I still think that and I am well on the other side, lol. You will be just fine. I will try to keep up with your post to see how you do. Miranda
I can totally relate to your feelings, I felt them too. In retrospect though, I am glad I had so little time to think, rethink and think some more. 9 days will fly by (well, in theory, but it may seem to crawl occasionally)... and before you know it, you'll be on the other side.
I'm Natalie (32), DH (30). We have 2 boys (11, 6) and I had my TL in 2003. I had the Parkland tubal ligation method , with 1.5 removed from each side with tubal cauterization . I had my TR last Monday (10/19) and feel wonderful, and WHOLE. I have 6 and 6.5cm lengths of tube left and started TTCing 2 days after my surgery. I was about to O and figured "why not?"....
