Praying that they didn't remove too much tube, and even if they did, I've seen many short tube ladies pop on here to say they've gotten their BFP. Hang in there, I know it's hard!
I am healing well! I can't believe I just had surgery. CH takes such good care of you. You are back on your feet in no time. If not for hubby reminding me to take it easy, I would be doing way too much.
I had the TR b/c I had very severe PTLS symptoms and I am already miraculously seeing improvement in that area, just 1 week post TR. Having PTLS for so long really put things into perspective for DH and I though. I feel like I got a new lease on life. I know that sounds crazy! Once I am feeling better we very well may try for a 3rd. I put off going back to school (I am a pre-nursing student) for so long b/c I felt awful every day, so maybe once I am finished with school in a couple of years. It's really in God's hands now!

ALLTIEDUP thanks for your support. They did tell me that I can still have the TR, I just kinda freaked out when I saw Dr. B's post about how much tube can be removed in that TL procedure. Hopefully I may still be able to see the pathology report this week. On a differentr note how are you healing, and when do you think you will start TTC?

Did CH say they could still perform the surgery for you? I just read the blog on the Uchida..did a search to find it. It looks like it is still reversible, even if you have tubes remaining on the shorter side. Hang in there...don't give up on something you want so bad!! Praying for you.

Ok so I spoke to CHTRC today and found out there was a little misprint and the type of TL I had was an Uchida, from the Blog Dr. B wrote in '08 on the website, it looks like my chances aren't so good. Apparently they take a huge amount of your tube with this procedure, wanted to see if anyone else had a TR after this type of sterilization and what the results were. I'm almost at the 10 day countdown so I guess I'm just freaking out. I'll call on Monday to see if I can get the pathology report from the hospital.

I was just looking at the Illustration of the Irving Procedure and if they did it true to the way it should be done, I don't think they cut any segment of tube out. I think they just cut the tube and separate it away and implant it to the uterus so it does not grow back together with the other healthy end of tube. If CH says they can reverse it, then do not worry! You really are in the best possible hands! We worry about all sorts of things before going in...I cried for weeks prior to my TR b/c I was just sure Dr M would tell me he would not be able to get through my scar tissue/adhesions. That was so not the case at all! They will do everything possible to fix you for optimum results.

If CHTRC said they can do it then I would go with what they said. Will be hard for them to say anything for sure until they get in there but they will do all that is necessary to get it done. They've done extra to help ensure that as little as possible gets in the way of getting pregnant. Many have had adhesions and endometriosis removed - Dr. M removed a fibroid that I had. I wish there were guarantees but they will do all that they can to get you where you want to be!

I was hoping some of the girls out there could let me now if they had a TR with an Irving sterilization and had a BFP after? Apparently the hospital I had my TL at never sent the pathology report so they don't know how much of the tubes were cut off. I sent the report a few years ago and CHTRC told me I could have the surgery so I went ahead and scheduled it for 8/3, now I'm worried there won;t be enough left, please help!!!!!
