I was actually ON my period when Dr. Monteith did my surgery, even the vaginal U/S. They just require you to wear pads instead of tampons and they will provide you with a pad after the U/S if you forget. I had my surgery on a Monday, so I had everything done the same day. Usually, they like to do some of the other tests a day before the surgery.

Our patients have their surgery on any day of their cycle. Many try to schedule when they are not on their period and of course, get it anyway. Schedule for your convenience.

Sorry to be new and to flood the forum with questions. LOL.
I as previously talking to the cleveland clinic before finding Dr. Berger's site. They were going to have me schedule surgery a week after my period, is that necessary or just some preference they may have?
