That's great. The 7DPO progesterone will also tell you if your level is staying high enough to maintain a thick uterine lining for implantation. How long is your LP? Mine had gotten VERY short - only 10 days. I was worried that without meds I would never sustain a pregnancy. I still O'd on CD15 or 17, but had such a short LP. I tried Clomid and it made the LP 12 days. I only tried it for one month. Anyway, I hope you aren't having a LP issue.

Yes, my periods are regular...like clockwork. I have the clearblue monitor so I know I ovulate on day 12 one month then day 14 then 12, then 14....keeps going back and forth like that.....Getting a specialist is not an option...the wait over here would be more than 6 months......what blood work is to be done? FSH on day 3....that one I know...

Sandra is right. Those will give you an idea of what you have left to work with. Do you still have very regular cycles? That is a great sign if you do. Are you using OPK's to determine your O time? Even with a great SC, timing is still everything. At your age I wouldn't wait another month to start checking into things.
I am 41, pushing 42, and was lucky enough to conceive naturally using only an OPK. I had the CD3 bloodwork done last summer and found out I was still younger than my years ovary wise. :-)

Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), and estradiol (E2). These should be done on CD 3. Then have a progesterone drawn 7 days after you ovulate. Good luck.

My suggestion would be to see an RE. Typically you should wait, but given your age, you may need to be a little more aggressive. An RE knows which tests to order, and can help you with medications and monitoring. Your family doctor may take a little more time than you want to wait, and may not be as familiar with like situations. Plus, at least around here, it may take a while to get in to see an RE.

Now I am getting worried!!! I need some help and advice please...
I had TR 27/JAN/09 and no bfp yet....I am 44 and heading towards 45 in Dec. When we started TTC we were soooo sure it would happen right away...my dh has high SC, both healthy etc etc. What a kick to the ego....now I am feeling my age and thinking it might not happen at all. I'm trying not to be negative but it's soooo hard. I can't stop thinking every single day that we waited too long to ttc....
What tests should I have done and can they be ordered by a regular fam. doctor? What cycle days should they be done on? I will ask for a HSG also...
