I tried Vitex with no success. My Dr. wasn't against it though. I think you have to be careful not to take it if you get PG. So be careful and make sure you look up all the information you can on the herbal suppliments you are planning on taking. I'm taking Femara and getting good results with that, although no BFP.

Ooo, acupuncture, I'm game! I didn't even think of that.

Thanks!

I started the herbs 2x a day, they taste horrible. However, the fertility doc also recommend the herbs along with the acupuncture. My insurance doesn't cover it, so I can only go once a week. I read a book on acupuncture and it seems older women can improve the quantity and quality of there eggs. She told me it takes at least 90 days for the body to get back into some new shape. I was hoping it might happen sooner. They surgery had alot to do with it. It was an invasion. So give the body some time to heal. I guess I have to learn to have patience. Some of these women have been trying a lot longer than me, so I apologize for complaining.

I agree w/ Jenn. When I visited a RE, I was told to stop all herbals. And I've never tried acu, but have heard great things.

I tried both and would recommend acupuncture and prenatals but staying away from the herbal supplements. I know a number of women use them and if it works for them great but the two cycles I tried a herbal fertility supplement it totally screwed up my cycle, suppressed ovulation and AF was late. On the other hand, 6 weeks after starting acupuncture we got pregnant with Lydia Grace. That was after 4 miscarriages and 1 ectopic. If nothing else, the acupuncture helped me to relax and forced me to take a break once a week. Again, this is just my experience. Many women have tried both and had very different experiences then I did. HTH and good luck!

Has anyone tried acupuncture and herbs to try and conceive? I started two weeks before my TR and I also started pre-natal vitamins. My AF is due on Thursday. I hope all this stuff works some magic, to try to produce better quality eggs.
