Glad to hear that you received some good news regarding your FSH and estradiol levels. I'm sure some of the other women will appreciate your encouraging words.

Hello everyone, Donna keep thinking positive, the Lord will definitely bless you!!! I'm from Bermuda and I'm 40yrs going 41 in November. My DH and I are planning to have TR around our 1st wedding anniversary, Feb. 21st. I received my results for FSH 7 which I was overjoyed about. I also starting my pre-natal vitamins and iron supplement, I'm a little enemic. All in all, I don't look close to 41 and feel great! I look forward to doing the chart thing with my DH, he will love to know when to do the most BDing. Lol!

Tryn41more, I am about 2 1/2mo post TR and I just learned about charting. We are using FM,BBT,checking CM, and charting now. I have friends that chart and it always seemed to be too much or too stressful to even bother with, but I am truly enjoying it. To visualize everything together like that is really cool.
I just O'd and I have an appt next mo to have my cervix checked for prolapse, FSH, E2 and CD7 P4. Hopefully we won't need any of that due to a BFP!
It is so encouraging for us 40's ladies on here. At first I thought I was crazy of wanting another baby at my age - 41, almost 42! But, I find great comfort in knowing I'm by far not alone! My day 3 FSH was 5, haven't had the Estradiol checked but also get told all the time I don't look my age. Had our TR on 6/23 and feel wonderful! I will be 2 weeks post op tomorrow and am feeling great. Have occaisional pains, as Im pretty sure Denise (Luv2BDagain) said in another post sneezing is by far the worst...if you know its coming hold that tummy ladies! My husband and I were walking around in Lowes (his favorite place to be) and I sneezed about 3 times, he laughed and said you already look like a pregnant woman holding her tummy! Told him I was just getting in practice ha ha! We aren't really "trying" just yet, ovulated on Saturday (we think) and did BD...if the Lord blesses us this early ok, but a little concerned I need a little more healing first. We don't chart or temp, just going to let God take care of it. That's easy to say right now but if we don't conceive in probably 6 months or so I will become a charting fool Take care and best of luck!

Hi Donna, Thanks for sharing. I am 45, TR 5/13/09, my FSH was 4, and I haven't had E2 yet though. I couldn't get an appt this month and Aug schedule is up this week, so I have to call Wed to get an Aug appt w/OB GYN.
I feel great and don't look 45 either. My only issue is, like too many, I need to drop some poundage.

Hi all, I haven't posted in a while after DF and I broke up as I have been battling that whole rollar coaster ride. For those not familiar, he broke up with me that night on the day I found out from an RE that I could never get pregnant with my own eggs, TR or not, IVF, nothing. Many said it was a blessing in disguise. I went ahead though since my insurance covered it to go further in the testing to see my ovarian reserve (I am 45 years old) and go figure, as the subject line says, I have a Cycle Day 3 FSH level of 7.6 and an estradiol level of 48. Basically, these same levels are those in a woman in her early 30's, some late 20's. The same RE that said we couldn't use my own eggs was shocked. His partner had to double check my age when he checked my ovaries for follicles and saw 5 in one ovary, and 3 mature in other. I don't look my age, many say I don't act it...lol and have always had good 'Russian' child bearing genes. It's almost as if I could get pregnant on command and now docs says he knows why, no other health issues ever.
So it would just be a matter of having Doctors at Chtrc do my reversal and had the DF stayed with me, we could possibly be having a baby within next year. I'm not even close to peremenopausal but it will be his loss.
I'm still coming there to CHTRC to get my reversal done because obviously the lord has a different calling for me than with this man, and who knows....but I do know that all is meant to be, will be.
I wanted to let all you older ladies out there feeling as if an RE tells you, your body is too old to get 2nd opinion or just keep believing and praying, because miracles do happen and you must believe in order for it to be.
