I havent checked-in in ages - but since I've been contacted by Sandra and Mommato3boys, I thought I'd come post an update.
I'm def. an old timer - my TR was 9/29/04. We did clomid cycles, injectible cycles, and injectible +IUI cycles - all to no avail. Not a single bfp in all three years of TTC. No reason why - both tubes spilt, I was 37 when we started ttc. No sperm issues, no immune issues. The only possible explanation was "old eggs".
After nearly 3 yrs ttc, in July 07, we did our first DE IVF cycle overseas - followed by another in Feb 08, a third in July 08, an FET from our third cycle in April 09 and our fourth fresh cycle in July 09. I'm happy to finally be able to say we are pg from our FOURTH donor - our FIFTH transfer.
We will be 3 months pg on Thursday with a singleton and so far, things seem to be OK except for my blood pressure which is being closely monitored and I'm on meds for.
I wish the TR had worked for us, but I dont regret trying it first.
