Well, I have seen an RE and they said all my tests were normal. I have been using an OPK since the TLR with no BFP. It sucks. I need BOTH my tubes open. One closed right after surgery so I already feel like it was only half successful. Now, I am going to have to pay another doctor to open the one that's closed. I am sooo discouraged though. I really am. Thanks to EVERYONE that is responding to this, I need the encouragement to not feel like the TLR was a complete waste of time and money. Thanks again.

Well my HSG pretty much said that my right tube was probably blocked.
I waited for 2 years for my first BFP - and because we were seeing an RE and going through the oral/shots/u/s, the month I did get my BFP, the RE told me not to BD because I only had developed one follicle on my right ovary, she was worried about an etopic.
Well we did BD that night and even though only one follicle, I delivered a healthy baby girl 9 months later. I'm glad we ignored her advice. She just turned 3 last week.
I guess my right tube worked just fine??? To me she is my little "Miracle"
I'm going to be 43 next week, and having my IUD removed this Wednesday. I think we'll just see what happens??? No more RE's etc...
I know that it can be discouraging, but do not give up hope! If you are not already doing so, use an OPK to confirm when you are ovulating. You may also want to discuss this with your local physician to see if there are other options to help with ovulation and egg production.

Alwaysmom--You are not the only one that feels this way. However, don't lose hope yet. You have one healthy tube and sometimes it does take a little longer to get pregnant with only one. Every week, though we get reports of women who conceive with one tube. Let's keep positive thoughts for you. Sally,RN

the only advice i can give is tell you what i did to get to the point that i am and to keep you in my prayers what seemed To work for me was not putting all my focus on the bd what I put all my time into was taking my temps every morning and when ever it peaked we jumped right to it and that took 2cycles we are not in the same situation but sometimes when you have less stress it will happen. I know you may feel like your running out of time but a few months weeks of days will be worth it to take it stressfree I wish you all the baby dust I have and happiness keep your head up and try to stay stressfree good luck and keep us posted ~Vernett ~

It took us 22 months, 4 miscarriages and 1 ectopic to get pregnant with Lydia Grace. It can happen, you just have to want it bad enough (and I think everyone here does) to keep holding on to hope. It's totally normal to feel discouraged when it doesn't happen right away.
Have you been charting your temp and doing the OPKs? Given your age, you may want to see an RE and see if they can help get aggressive about getting you pregnant. There are a lot of good REs out there that will work with you without pushing IVF.
I had my TLR in 1/08 ( I wonder how the other ladies from that day are doing). HSG 11/08. One blocked tube. Almost 40 and running out of hope. I was told that my tubal length was good but I only have one usable tube post surgery. Does anyone have any words of encouragement? I am about to throw in the towel.
