Laura 11Needles Member # 13928 posted                    Hello Brave, I had thyroid issues however I don't think they were tied to my TL (essure 11/06). My thyroid functioned perfectly however I had 2 very large nodules in it. I had it removed in January 09. I take meds every day for it. like you I would bleed for 10 to 15 days (very heavy) that I do belive is from the TL. I gained weight too. I had my TR 8/26/09 and have only had one cycle since (9/12) and it wasn't as bad as they have been. brave Member # 14110 posted                    Hi! I am 43 years old, have 6 childern by C-Section and was told with last baby (in 2003) that I should not have anymore due to condition of uterus. So, I had my tubes tied while c-section. Since then I have gained weight, have had more trouble with my thyroid (was diagnosised with hypothryoidism in 1998), and now with last menstrual cyle, I bled for 15 days. Has anyone else had thyroid issues tied to TL? We are in touch with Chapel Hill in re: to reversal, for the sake of stable hormones.
