Hi Ladies, I am here in the sheraton, sipping my clear liquids;) surgery will be in a little less than 3 hours..can't believe it! Anyhow.. Dh 38 and I 37 have been married for 15 years. We always wanted a large family, which we have;)Which we love so much, as do the kids who beg all the time for another baby! DS 14 DS 12 DD 11 (adopted from Ethiopia almost 2 years ago) DS 10 DS 8 DD 8 (adopted almost two years ago with big sister from Ethiopia) DD 6 ~DD~ who grew angel wings at 1 day old. After MC twins at 12 weeks and then a very incredibly difficult pregnancy and delivery with our angel girl, our concerned family said we should TL and count our many blessings..under the raw emotions of it all we made that impulsive decision and had it done after her birth on November 28th 2006, a very bitter sweet day. We instantly regretted it and within a few months of the TL started researching CH. We ended up adopting the girls and between a strong desire to try for another baby of our own and PTLS we decided to go for our TR:) We are so excited to be this close..I will let you know as soon as I get back. Everyone there is SO friendly and informative..no worries for those of you waiting to go still:) TR date~ October 20th 2009:) Tara

joyful1 and newchpter...I was surprised at the lengths. I think I imagined in my head that the physician who performed my TL in '97 just hacked away during the surgery. So, I was pleasantly pleased to hear the lengths. I have recovered quite well. In fact, things were so great that while I had surgery on a Thurs, I was back at work on Tues! Dr. Monteith did a wonderful job. I am so happy!!! This past weekend, I was finally able to fit into my jeans. Was bloated for so long - looked like I was preggers. But, all seems to be pretty much back to normal now. Both of you will do just fine on your surgery dates. Can't wait to have you on the other side.

Just wanted to share my story as well! I am 27 with 3 kiddos from a previous marriage. I married DH in March & he has no kiddos of his own & he is 29. I had my TL after my 3rd child because my husband at the time thought that was enough & we were pretty fertile mertile if I do say so myself.
We are flying in on the 24th but my surgery isnt until the 27th. We are going to spend some much needed time with some of our good friends that live in Fayettville!
Natalie...You only have one day left!! I will be praying for a good result & healthy healing!
Becky...I am sure everything is going to work out fine! We dont have that much longer & we will be in NC!!
Danaka...I hope you get the relief you need from being pushed into a TL!!
I WISH everyone safe travels to & from CHTRC & lots of baby dust from here on out!!

Hi, I'm Becky. I'm 36 and my DH is 39. We've been married for almost 16 years. Our sons are 13, 10, and 7. My tubes were tied and cut on 7/16/02. My surgery will be 10/28. We fly down from NH on the 26th. We can hardly wait! We've never taken a vacation without the boys. We are praying hard that this all works out.
