Hi Newbie, I was 33 when Dr.M performed my TR in April ('09)and I had a bipolar coagulation (performed in '03) with supposedly 2-3cm rmvd from each tube. I was told after surgery that I had more tube left than stated on my pathology report and ended up with 5.25cm on the L and 6.5cm on the R. The first cycle after my 34th B-day we got a BFP!(August)I am currently 14wks 5dys with my 1st TR baby. My best wishes to you on your TR journey, I'd say you have great chances but of course it always depends on the condition of your tubes. CHTRC is the best and you couldn't be in better hands!

Miranda thanks I use to run more than I do now but with the twins turning 2 it has been hard to get 2 days in but I set a goal of trying to exercise 3 times a week but except now I do not train for long distance I do 3-6 miles,I have a double jogger,so when I workout it helps me regroup and energize with 2 toddlers also I am trying to stay in good health for my surgery and hopefully followed by a BFP!I am close to getting the funds that I need to have TR so I will be able to make that call and schedule soon

I had my TR when i was almost 31, I had my surgery Dec. 31st, 2008 and got my BFP on Feb. 13th, 2009. And we now have a beautiful nine week old little girl. I would do the TR all over again anyday. Dr. Berger and his reversal staff are WONDERFUL. And if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have our little reversal miracle today..

Sounds like your chances are great! I had the ligation/resection and I had about 3 to 4 cm removed. I ended up with 5 on both sides. I still have not gotten a BFP but we are hopeful. I am 35 and age is a huge factor so the quicker you can get the TR the better. The staff and tubal reversal doctors at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center are truly amazing and you will not regret using them for your tubal reversal surgery . Keep us posted on your surgery! Good luck to you.

Thanks Diane that really helped! I had the Parkland Tubal Ligation about 1inch removed from each tube so not very much at all so I think I like my chances very well

It depends on what kind of tubal ligation you had. Look at the bottom of the screen here and go to " Pregnancy Statistics ". They have it broken down by age and by procedure. Hope this helps.

Hey ladies I was just wondering what are the normal pregnancy statistics after tubal reversal for a 32 year old ttc because that's how old I will be when I have my tubal reversal ?I am like 5'11 170 mostly muscle which muscle weighs more than fat so I think I am very healthy I workout regularly not as much as I did before the twins 2 years go though I ran a marathon last year and now trying to maintain weight which BTW has been hard since the twins turned 2 but I'm doing okay trying to prepare for a possible BFP hopefully soon after TR in Feb. or early part of March so any 32 year olders or around that age got preggo fast after tr,Sabrina.
