Light adhesions are thin and filmy as opposed to dense adhesions as in scar tissue. These can form around the end of the tube and/or ovary and may prevent an egg from being able to enter the tube. Scarring inside the tube itself, the usual cause of tubal blockage, requires removing the scarred part of the tube and making sure the tube is open. This is best done through open surgery (mini-laparotomy) in the same way that I repair the tubes when doing a tubal reversal operation.

Sorry to be a pest but I want to make sure I got it correct my tubes are blocked closer to the fimbria end if the blockage is not that bad it can be corrected. if it is scar tissue because from the healing of the tubes can that be fixed? And when you say light adhesions what does that mean? And when tubes are blocked is it blocked fron the inside are is it that the scarring that pushes the tube closed from the outside? Forgive me for so many questions but thanks inadvance for your help

Light adhesions around the fimbrial end of the tube or between the fimbrial end of the tube and ovary, these can be corrected via operative laparoscopy.
