Thank you all for your kind words! It is nice to have a place to share.
Brandy, I had my surgery in Jan and the following Nov had an hsg. The doctor told me my only hope to become pregnant was through ivf. We sent my report to Dr. Berger and said that he thought I could conceive naturally. The following Nov I found out I was pregnant(I was 37 yrs old). We did nothing except for, on occasion, I would do ovulation test strips from save on tests. When I took my pregnancy test I had no symptoms - I wanted a coke and did not want to feel guilty. Boy, was I surprised. I tested with a save on test preg test. I did do 1(okay 2)of those tests that say pregnant. I ended up taking 7 tests. Hope you get a bfp very soon!!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing. She is so precious!! I hope you don't mind me asking, but did you have to have any assistance conceiving...such as meds, hsg etc?? I'm just curious if there is anyone who conceived a few years later, but without fertility meds etc.

It was three years ago today that we left for Chapel Hill. I was so nervous. I remember walking in for my surgical consultation and was immediately put at ease. The staff was warm, friendly and professional. We were treated like old friends. It was almost 2 years before I became pregnant, and I must say that the first 12 weeks I was skeptical. However, this week our daughter is 6 months old. We take nothing for granted with our time with her, and this is what I am thankful for in our wait. Longing for her has made us cherish every moment. We were ready for sleepless nights and endless crying, but the funny thing is she has slept through the night since she was born and has never cried without being able to console her. We hope for a houseful no matter their temperament. I read often and am so excited when I see the new pregnancies and pray for those who have losses. I want to thank you ladies for sharing yourselves on this board and hope the best for each of you. Also, I want to thank Dr. Berger for his attention to detail at his facility, for his choice in the wonderful staff he has surrounded himself with and his skill in tubal repair. I have attached some photos and I hope someone is encouraged to continue and others have the strength to start the journey. Thank you for allowing me to share with you our daughter. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd295/nicolebulla/PC140289.jpghttp://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd295/nicolebulla/IMG_1088.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd295/nicolebulla/IMG_1090.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd295/nicolebulla/P1160580.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd295/nicolebulla/P1170587.jpg
