I have tubes that are on the shorter side--Lt-3.5 and Rt-5.0. I had my TR 1/3/06 and got my BFP 10/18/06, right after my 39th birthday. I just gave birth to our beautiful daughter, Tristan. Wishing you all the best!!

Kat - I have 4.5 left and 4.0 right. My right side is blocked. But I have a 3 year old TR son. It took us 15 cycles to see a +++. When TTC TR baby#2 it only took 4 cycles to see a +++, but ended in early m/c. It has been a year since the m/c, but we are not actively TTC, just not using any b/c.

Wow, I am so encouraged by all of you! Thank you so much for sharing your successes with all of us "hopefuls!" You are all what will keep me in a positive frame of mind. Please keep sharing! Kat
p.s. Today I got my operative report from Dr. B (I emailed and requested a copy for my OB/Gyn) "I had it backwards" I'm Rt.5.5 and Lft. 4.5 it also mentioned that my left ovary looks polycystic, but ovulatory. That word polycystic seems scary to me... yikes!

Thank you so much for the feedback, it's so wonderful to meet ladies who have "lived the dream!" You are an inspiration for sure!! I have a TR sister who's lengths are 10.5 & 9.5 (or something like that) I consider myself short compared to that for sure. I know there are ladies with shorter lengths than I, but hearing your stories of success are uplifting to us all. My recent concern is what would I do if my tubes turn out to be blocked? Would I attempt another TR or give up TTC all together? So... you are giving me hope and I appreciate that immensely! Kat

Jules that's wonderful news, I had my TR on 3/15/06, I am going to have an HSG next week and am praying they are open and have wonderful results like yourself... thank you for your post that really gives me hope... My R is 4cm and my L is 2.5cm so I am on the short side as well.... keeping my fingers crossed....

I did not carry to term Lila was a preemie (23 weeker). My tubes are 2 and 2.5 I was PG the first month of trying. My OB said the fact she is a preemie has nothing to do with having had a TR. She is my only preemie.

This is a very good question, and one that I have thought of myself. I'll start TTC after I am married 12/29, (TR 6/25), and lengths are shorter than yours (Lt 2/Rt 5). Thanks for asking this question. Lisa

I am mostly wanting to get some feedback because of another thread poster who is asking about why so many miscarriages seem to be happening. I guess I am wondering if short tubes are an issue because someone said that the egg doesn't have enough time to develop before implantation is supposed to occur... this little blurp has me "thinking" this little comment has me unable to sleep very well. I just think that I would feel better if some TR Moms shed some experience on the subject for me. Kat
