Peg, that three month window is a myth - I know many many ladies, myself included who had the HSG, had at least one open tube, and did not magically get pg after the test.
Dont worry about that 'three month window' its best to get your husband healthy again.
Also keep in mind that elevated temps can kill off sperm, and it will take about 3 months for them to go back to normal once his temps are down. Also, if there is blood/protein in the urine, this could also be having an effect on the sperm.
I hope he gets better soon, and that you two will be back to TTCing soon!

Hey Tonya I hope that you DH is Ok. I'll be praying for the both of you. I understand how stressful it is to have a spouse that is sick. Jennifer

I think I would hold off on ttc as well. His high body temp may affect his sperm and without knowing exactly what's wrong I'm not sure I would want to begin a pg which is stressful enough with my spouse ill. Once he's well or you know an exact diagnonis you can rest easier and both can enjoy both ttc and a new pg with full enthusiasm.

My husband has been sick for a few months now. In the last 2 weeks it has gotten really bad. He is currently being tested with an Infectious Disease Specialist. But they don’t know if he needs that doctor or oncology. His temperature is increasing all the time. He runs a daily temp of 100.9 or more. Last night it was 103. His white cell count is 24,000, Sedimentation 97 and some protein and blood in urine. Do you think it’s safe, for a baby, to continue TTC. He is not being treated or anything, currently.
