I had my u/s today and showed in uterus which is just great. It is only one baby numbers were just high I guess. My DH was soooo sure there was going to be 2. We saw the gestational sac and the yolk sac. No fetal pole yet and of course no heartbeat. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for the next ultrasound.AHHH I hate waiting!!! LOL I am soooo impatient. I am still worried, I just want to see the whole thing right away and know that all is well and safe. 2 More weeks of anxiety. I am thankful and know I am blessed though to have a pregnancy and have it in the right place.

Thanks Bostonlass, I do chart too and it seems to look correct. I guess I just wanted the reassurance before my chart told me I ovulated yesterday. I have only charted for 2 months and April was not a good picture as I went to Mexico twice and drank and temped at different times each morning during that time. I won't fret about it then. I'll try using the ones I have and see if I think I like them enough to get more for when we really start to TTC in Aug. Trisha

I really didn't use the OPK to guage my ovulation. I just wanted to see some sort of line in there to know that I actually do ovulate. Sperm last for up to 48 hours I believe so it's not like if I didn't catch it right when the stick had a line then that was that. I honestly wouldn't spend too too much $$ on them. As long as you see the lines there you know you're ovulating and that should hopefully set your mind at ease.
I *do*, however, take great stock in charting my basal temps. I think that is a lot more telling than the OPK tests in terms of when to babydance.

Hope everyone is having a good day! Can't wait to get home from work! I have a queston about OPK's. Does everyone test twice a day the few days before you think you're going to "O"? Last month was the first month I tried the sticks and I only did it around dinner time. I think I missed it because based on my "Fertility Friend" chart, I O'd 2 days after I tested. I then tested 1 day after, not knowing for sure at the time that I had O'd. I just want to make sure I buy enough of them. So if this is right, I should probably go through about 6 a month? Trisha

Amanda, thanks for the birthday wish and the compliment. You are a beautiful UK girl and David should be proud to sport you on his arm! I am back at work today and feeling sooooo tired and sore. I did more at home than I do at work everyday. I sit in front of a computer all day but I'm feeling lousy! I may try to leave early today. How was work today at the salon? There is a lady from the UK who is 39 on the "New message board members." She is looking for you. I told her you were from England and the same age as her. Her login is courtnipadortni, there is also another gal from the UK, her name is Nicola, neither has had their TR so maybe you could reply to their messages. Here's the link. http://forums.tubal-reversal.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/6/3183.html I'm still trying to get used to our time zone differences. It's 6:00pm your time and only 11:00am my time :-(. Miss you and talk to you soon. Trisha

If you can feel a part of it and think you can pull it up try it. Just may want to get some ice and hold it on it for awhile so it want hurt. I cut mine on my own. Tweezers work well for pulling them up with out pinching the skin. Let us know how things are going. Miranda

my DH wasn't too gentle either - it hurt quite a bit! you have to cut the thread just under the knot. if its embedded, you may need to pull it out some. i don't think these are the dissolving kind.

morning ladies. Last night I felt a twinge on the left side of my incision and I think part of the knot is still there but I'm afraid to cut it because it's imbedded. Will it just dissolve on it's own if that's what it is? My husband is the one that did the cutting but I don't want him to even know I think it's not all the way gone since when he did the cutting he PULLED REALLY HARD thinking the whole thing was one big thread that was gonna come out.
