Today is the 3rd day for me on Clomid. The symptoms are still not bad but I do have a headache today and achy ovaries. I have my fingers crossed for all of us. It's been over two years and I am more than ready for a BFP!

Thank you ladies for replying to me. I am on 50mg once a day. The nurse told me over the phone to take it in the evenings. This is my second day. I am to take it on days 5 thru 9. This morning I had some nausea but it didn't last long, bloating w/gas, sore boobs and my face broke out this afternoon. It's wierd. There was nothing on my chin this morning when I was putting my makeup on and by the time I got to work I had a red bump then by the afternoon it was a big huge zit. I've honestly never had one to pop up so quick. The symptoms were not very bad at all. The worst probably was the bloating with gas. It's hard to work in close quarters with that condition LOL. Hopefully the Clomid will work for us ladies. Baby dust to all.

Tabby, it's been a while since i've taken clomid but i do remember that I took it 4 cycles. the first three cycles I was fine with no side effects but the 4th cycle I was going crazy because on my last day i felt it all.. i mean ALL! (headache,dizzy,seeing double)but then again, they had me on 250mg. after that I can't see myself trying clomid again. hope it works for you. I never heard of anyone feeling as bad as i did but theres always a first. Good Luck!

I just posted on the ttc over a year thread. The doctor just prescribed clomid this morning but I can't start it until next cycle because I'm already on CD9. I have been almost three years without a BFP and not tried anything before now so praying that the clomid does the trick!!! I think I will take it at night...I hadn't thought about it before reading this post. The doc seems pretty hopeful...she said I need to be monitored so I have to check back in with her after the first cycle after I start the clomid, but she also said hopefully I won't have a cycle once I start. That was encouraging to hear!!!

This is to Jan/Peach - I take Clomid (5 cycles so far) and I tan year round. If there are sun sensitive issues then it has not affected me and I am blonde with blue eyes so I would be very likely to suffer if it were a side effect. Melissia

I have done clomid soooo many times. I for one had no issue responding to them, my side affects were only night sweats off and on and mild headache that you can take tylenol for.. its just an irritable headache.. i usually dont take anything most of the time. A little dizzyness as well after the 2nd pill the next morning. But i have not gotten a BFP... but not because of the clomid.
BUT i do have a question while taking clomid.. Can you go tanning in a tanning bed while on clomid..? There is no known adverse affects using ultraviolet rays.. or sensitivity to light is there.?I do not remember since the last time taking it.

Good luck! I took my clomid at night as well. I had some headaches, but nothing tylenol wouldn't fix. We tried with no success for 14 months. I went on clomid and we got our BFP after the 2nd cycle! Hope it does the trick for you too! Bonnie TR 10-27-06 TR Baby Due 11-5-08

hi tabby I took my first round of clomid this cycle. The only side effect I had was hot flashes but I took it at night so I wouldnt feel them. Im CD 23 today. Good luck! Kristie
