The test tomorrow is most likely for progesterone, which is usually done at 7 DPO. I don't know why they automatically schedule it for CD 21, because not all women "O" on day 14, even on clomid, but you will be 6 DPO so that is close enough. They want the number to be over 10 to confirm that you ovulated on the clomid - over 15 is prefered - mine was only 8.4 last month. If the number is low, they may increase next month - I went from 50 mg to 100 mg this month. The test on CD 28 is probably to do a hcg beta and another progesterone just to see if the clomid was successful in helping you get pregnant, and to see if you are pregnant, if the progesterone is high enough to sustain a pregnancy. Good luck! I hope you have good numbers...let us know! I am only a few days behind you, so I go in for my b/w next Tuesday.

Carol, Thanks for sharing... I though it was beautiful. I go in for blood work tomorrow (at CD21) which i believe is to test to see if I "Oed" - is this correct? They have me set up to go in the following Friday too - what would that be for (which would be CD 28)? Being as im new to the Clomid, and my OB didnt explain things well, i am kinda confused as to what is next and what they are doing all this testing for.... Help Carol (lol)

This came to mind when I realized I ovulated. It's really corny but I just thought I would share this with you.
At this moment I am praying Lord, please let my eggie meet her sperm. Safely I beg they unite as one, Nature do them no harm. Travel safely down my tubes, to my uterus they shall go! Nestle snuggly in my womb... in two weeks I shall know!

Carol I was not planing on testing. I was going to wait this one out. I did take my temp this am just to see and it is above my base line. If nothing by Sunday I will most likely get a test.

I told him there was no need for me to have it done if he could not have any. We have also stopped temping and I am only marking CD-1 so I know when AF will show again or not, lol. Hello, Just checking in, Sorry i haven't posted in a while. i've been very busy with work and kids after school stuff. My dd has game today (1st)cheerleading. Can't wait to see this. Any how, ttc thing, i haven't been keeping track and dh has decide to go and have his boys checked, this will probably happen in about 2 weeks and then we are going to go from that on what we are going to do next.so right now if it happens it happens and i am not going to keep track of things for a while. so best of luck to all. Temp usually drops the day before or day of "O" then rises after ovulation, causing the "thermal shift"...then they stay up for about 14 days, then dip just before AF.

Caroljean I thought temps would rise after O. FF has me o'ing on cd12 after these past three days my temp climbed. The day of O my temp went up also. Just curious, since you said it dropped. I am a little confused.

Miranda..good luck with that...I really hope you get your BFP for your anniversary! You can write it in a "Happy Anniversary" card and give it to him to suprise him! I'm praying for you!
I am praying AF holds off till after Saturday. I got my husband tickets for our second wedding anniversary and we are going to a concert that night. Be nice to get a BFP right now too. What a great present that would be for us.
